"I hate a store that gives coupons for a limited time and then puts everyting on sale so that the coupons do not work. If an item is on sale, then a coupon doesn't have the value of the coupon. If everything is marked 40% off, then you don't get the value of your coupon It is totally misleading to the customer as to the value of a coupon. You either take the discount or the coupon. It is almost an insult to the intelligence of a consumer that you give coupons that are not really worth what they say, Every time that I have been given a $10 off of $10 purchase, everything in the store is amazingly marked on sale. Don't even give coupons that are so misleading-you either use the coupon or the percentage off. That's not giving a loyal customer anything but angry and disappointment when they try to use it. I'm not talking about rewards, but stupid $10 of $10 and them exclude almost everythng in the store because of sale price. The way they work is almost testing a customers intelligence and so very misleading. I am starting to get tired of stores using scams (because that is really what they are) to loyal customers.Get smart and either don't even give coupons or make them available on sale items (because always everything is put on sale the three days the coupns are usable) and show respect for your customers instead of trying to make them believe you are giving them something which you actually aren't. You just make fools out of them. I resent that very much and feel sorry for others that don't realize what Peebles is really doing to their purchasing power. It's misleading and no highy respected company should treat people that way. Don't try to fool people into believing you are giving them anything, It's a gimmick to get them in the store. Peebles would do better if they were a little more ethical instead of doing this to customers everytime they are rewarded a $10 off $10 purchase and then mark everythng on sale so it's either not worth $10 or can't be used. SHAME!"
