"I ordered a intake kit for my 2.5l mk5. They told me it would be 2 months before they could send the kit because they didn't have the air filter. I said no problem just take the cost of it off the shipping which they said they would but didn't. While installing the kit I noticed it was missing a screw plug for the manifold. I know I didn't loose the plug because the bag was still sealed. Not a big deal a trip to the hardware store fixed that. The big problem came after installing it. The car sounded great but it actually seemed slower. It's an automatic and I knew I wouldn't get the 48 extra they claimed but I figured at least 25 to 30 hp gain not less hp than stock. I told them it was automatic so I figured they wouldn't move the power band as high but they did. So I was left with an almost nonexistent power band. I tried to explain this to the sales rep lady about the shifting brings the rpms so far behind the power band the car is actually slower. She insisted otherwise multiple times. Instead of trying to explain any further I asked for them to give a discounted stage1 tune instead of the stage2. They wouldn't even do that.

"I am never disappointed with Integrated Engineering (IE). When ordering certain parts they will call or e-mail to discuss that you're getting the right item for your vehicle (particularly when parts are interchangeable across vehicle platform and more than one product will work).
IE is always good about providing updates on shipping and tracking numbers. Products are generally reasonably priced. The item on this occasion was an air intake and it was well boxed, had instructions and the craftsmanship was excellent."
