"I purchased from an outlet store. They fragrance didn't last and it soon turned to alcohol. Apparently it wasn't the real deal because designer fragrances last for years. I've had fragrances to last over ten years and the last drop smelled just as good as the first. Never again."
"his is the worst of all stores I have ever seen. Their colognes are either fake or stayed too long on shelf and lost smell. The customer service is bad. I went to the Tanger mall store of Perfumania in Oxon hill, MD. The sales guy was a pleasant guy. I bought a creed cologne for about $365. Took it home and found out that was a seriously different smell from the creed that I have been used to for over 5yrs. I went back the next day and all the store rep told me was that they could not accept. I sought to talk to the manager and the guy called the manager on the phone whose name was Maurissa Davies. Maurissa after speaking to the store rep for almost 10mins finally to him to tell me that she was unavailable to talk to me. That’s enough to tell you that they all know about this persistent issue of selling fake colognes. Also, while standing there, another customer came in for same complain. The worst cunny and crooked workers and owners. Infact, Maurissa Davies is the worst sales manager I have seen in my life. Someone who doesn’t care to address customers issues. The worst. Please be warned of this store."
"I bought 4 perfumes on winter sales. All the 4 perfumes are fake or diluted version of original. The fragrance doesn't last for more than an hour. After i complaint the company refused to share my review on their website and asking me money for return shipment.

I have ordered online and they were saying that the order was declined due to miss match of billing address and they not even notified me about the declination of order. When i contacted the customer service who are really disgusting they don't even now the exact reason for my declination. i contacted my bank and there are saying that the address they are having is correct. I would suggest people not use perfumania anymore and stuck with problems."
"placed multiple orders through the holiday season(all early enough to be timely delivered) . one order was not received, i proceeded to call customer service and they told me originally the card was no good, but used this card for every other order there. then i was told there was a system error and given a great big "ooo well , cant help you" , i would have to replace the order even though Christmas has passed and two family members are without gifts. the supervisor told me the same thing, great company policy> yes i will replace the order but not with perfumania. i will call a place that treats its customers a little better. "Terrible experience in the store 795 located in Tangle outlets (National Harbor) I requested a man fragrance (Desire) to be delivered from the warehouse to my house. I paid $9.18 for the next day delivery.. which didn’t come the day they promised and I got a wrong fragrance (Ferrari). When I went back to the store the guy who attended me name Lewis (Sales#89501) said that the Ferrari was the fragrance that I had ordered and that he explained to me that the shipment can’t fe regund, but he didn’t!! This guy called the manager and instead of letting me to talk with him, he called the security to take me out of the store! What a coward tho guy is... first, he did not accept it was his mistake; second, he didn’t give my right to soeowith the manager; and third, he called the security guard... treating me as an a offender... sadly no one did anything about it! Was it racial discrimination? I’m latina and he and the security guard were black race! What would be had happen if the client were an white American????? "
"I recently read this article about matching your scent to your hubby's and I got super curious. There's a Perfumania store in the mall right by my job, so after I got off work I stopped in to check out their selection. I honestly didn't expect to be wowed, but OMG they have so many perfumes and colognes!! I was scared I was going to be overwhelmed but the girls working there were so helpful.
My husband likes musky scents that are a little sweeter because his job has him interacting with so many people a day that he doesn't want his cologne to be overpowering. The lovely girl at the counter showed me Eternity by Calvin Klein and it was completely up his alley. She told me it had notes of sandalwood, lily and oranges (YUM) and that there was a women's version to compliment it! The women's Eternity also had the sandalwood, but it also had lily and freesia. It was so good!! I bought both and the counter girl was sweet enough to gift wrap my hubby's for me. Overall an awesome experience, and we're both so happy with our new scents!"
"I always buy my perfumes online because a lot of stores have way too much fragrance and I end up dizzy from all the scents at once. Sometimes it's really hard to tell what perfume will smell like online, but PERFUMANIA has such detailed descriptions for each scent and even has the notes most of the time. Plus, it shows related products underneath the scent you're currently looking at and unlike other sites, the perfumes are ACTUALLY related and have similar undertones. Such a great shopping experience, highly recommend!!

"My mom's birthday was last week and she loves older scents. Sometimes it's hard to find some of the perfumes she likes because the department stores only have the perfumes that came out this season. I checked Perfumania and they had some of her favorites like Cashmere Mist and CK One by Calvin Klein. "Okay, I know we're all guilty of waiting until the last minute to shop for gifts for our significant other, me definitely included. I recently got an email from Perfumania talking about their current promo, which was 40% off and free next day shipping. I figured it would be a great idea to act fast because with Valentine's right around the corner I wanted to get my boyfriend something yummy. I was able to grab a bottle of Gucci Guilty (a cologne he loves, but I think I love even more) for almost half of what it usually is in the department stores!! I had expected to spend sooo much more, that I even had some of my V-day budget leftover. I won't lie, I splurged and bought myself a bottle of Bright Crystal by Versace (totally recommend btw) for under 30 bucks. The best part is that I just checked my email again and my order had shipped right away!! Yay for scoring an awesome gift and for me and the boy to smell awesome together :)"

"My husband bought a bottle of perfume for me as a gift but I didn't like the scent when I opened the package to smell it. So I went down to the store with the original packaging and receipt to exchange it or get a refund. I was told by the sale associates that because the package was opened, they're unable give me an exchange or a refund. So beware all the people out there who is thinking of buying a gift from this place, DON'T. If the person you're planning on gifting to does not like what you bought them, they're stuck with it. Plus, the perfume smelled like it's been watered down. Save yourself some grief and buy it from Macy's or Dillard's or any other place where they do honest business and let you exchange or get a refund for the a product that you're not satisfied with."
