"I just ordered 2 bottles of Aqua Di Gio by Armani, 1 bottle of Hugo Boss, and 1 bottle of Eternity. I also bought 2 different types of Playboy cologne for 9.99 each (3.4 oz.) that were on clearance. I think they smell pretty good. All were real and they were at my doorstep in a couple days. I couldn't ask for a better transaction.

The prices were great also. I doubt you will find cheaper unless you are buying a fake. This was my 1st time using their site. I used to get my colognes from another site but they must have went out of business because I couldn't find the site. It was PerfumesAmerica.com or something close to that. Perfumania.com will be my new cologne site, very satisfied. Free shipping over 50.00 and they had a labor day 20% off code.

P.S-- I went to YouTube on how to spot a fake in the Aqua Di Gio. Again mine were real and the others I sprayed on and they lasted hours. If your cologne only lasts a couple hours its most likely fake. "

"Very Disappointed in Perfumania.
My husband want to The perfumania in Battlefield mall, Sprfld MO. to buy me a Christmas gift. He had my list in hand. He asked for some Vanilla scent body spray and lotion.
Instead of helping my husband find the Vanilla scents he was desiring, The sales clerk directed him to other perfume's, and body lotions.She told him he could purchase several items an receive free promotional items.
My husband asked about return policy. He was told," that if it is unopened, then your wife can return the perfums. NEVER once did she tell him, u have to return EVERYTHING,TO GET A FULL REFUND.
When I want to the store today, The cashier just rolled her eyes when I said, I need to return some items, After she looked at the receipt, she said the items where not returnable, Because they were either promotional or I wanted to keep some perfums.. (The ones i wanted to return, were all sealed, never opened).
This Company is just horrible to shop at. I have been in there on 2 other visits. There customer service is rude, unfriendly. They do not go the extra mile to help uninformed customers like my husband.(Never helped him find the vanilla scents in body lotion or sprays).
I shop at Battlefield Mall at least 2-3 times per. week. I love the mall.
I am so upset and mad at the way Perfumania has treated me and how dishonest they were with my husband. I am not sure I ever want to go back to your mall.
We have shopped almost every store in the Mall, We have eaten at several food court places. None of these stores have ever treated us so poorly.

"WORST SCAMMER - DO NOT INPUT CREDIT CARD INFO!

I ordered 2 shipments of which NONE ARRIVED. They claim to have called me but did not. I found out from another person that they do this purposely and to gain info., then you will be dealing with out-of-country charges. It is a very small co. and there's one phone rep (seems run from a house) and they refer you to the "manager" who never calls back. (THEY ARE NOT RELATED TO THE PERFUMANIA LOCATED IN VARIOUS SHOPPING MALLS. That is a different company all together with a similar name.)
BEWARE AND DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER WITH THEM. You can get similar pricing at any store anyway- be CAREFUL!!"

"I DID NOT RECEIVE THE PACKAGE!

I order the product on 11/28/2011, and I was waiting for the tracking number, On 12/2/2011, I received a tracking number for the shipment via UPS and will be delivered on the same date.
I got home around 6:30 and I was waiting for the shipment. Around 7:40, I checked the status and it stated delivered and was left on the front door at 7:32PM, I immediately opened the door and found out there is nothing on my doorway. I lived a very safe neighborhood and people here will never take the package. I feel bad that for a order of more than $50 was but shipment with signature requirement.

So I contact Perfumania right the way saying I will block the payment from my credit card if I don't receive anything.

"1) Rate the cost of Perfumania.com's products and services: The reason I chose to give just 1 star out of five is because their prices are almost always inflated compared to other reputed online sellers (like amazon.com). You can get lower prices using coupon codes, which brings the price down but still significantly higher than the other web sites. The problem is that coupons are not always available and even if they are, not everyone really knows how to go about hunting for those coupon codes.

2)How likely are you to shop at Perfumania.com in the future? Not likely. This review explains why.

3)Rate Perfumania.com's product Shipping Process overall (speed, no breakage, shipping cost, etc): 2 star rating. The shipping process is fine. However, as per their customer service rep, the free samples that they keep advertising on their web site actually may get out of stock and if they do so, the web site may take up to 1 month to reflect the fact that there are no more free samples left. I don't think this has so much to do with the limitations of their IT systems as it has to do with their marketing policies. So essentially, if you place an order hoping that you get those three free samples, you would be in for some surprise when your package arrives. I am not a lawyer but I think this is technically called a "bait-and-switch" marketing tactic that is just not cool.
4) Rate Perfumania.com's Customer Service overall, or choose n/a if you did not interact with their customer service: Again 1 star rating: I spoke with their Service rep as well as a supervisor. My complaint was that I was not shipped 3 free samples as advertised on their web site. They pointed me out to an esoteric link on their web site (among literally multiple dozens of links). That link opens up a popup page where right at the bottom it indicates that free samples are subject to availability. There are multiple problems with this:
1) An average customer cannot be expected to click every possible link on their web site looking for disclaimers. That disclaimer should have popped out nice and loud during the order checkout process. The customer service rep did not agree with this and mentioned that at least I got "1 free sample"
2) They are still advertising the three free samples on their web site. The customer service rep had to say that the free samples became available after my order shipped. Figure that!!
Finally the customer service rep kept cutting me off and did not want to hear my complete sentence. That is very unprofessional.

In a nutshell I will never shop in perfumania because I believe:
1) They deploy very deceptive marketing tactics. Being a consumer I would hate to deal with an organization like this.
2) Their costs are anyway pretty high - even after coupon codes you will likely find their prices are higher than other reputed online sellers.
3) Their customer service reps need to take a "Customer Service 123" course.

"I wish Perfumania was an active participate on Reseller Ratings because they'd be able to see how highly consumers rate them. But i digress, and i am here to share my experience with Perfumania which is very good.

While i am using the order # of my recent order with them right now, I have made several orders from them in the past. In fact, i was first introduced to Perfumania when i went to one of their stores in Hagerstown, MD back in 2006. The reps at the time were very nice, were not pushy, knowledgeable and lead me to Armani Code and Polo Black. Both of those colognes were/are very good and i still continue to use Armani Code to this day. When ordering online, their service is just as good and shipping is extremely fast. The only thing i say they could do better is expanding their variety of fragrances and put a guide on their website for different genres of fragrances (ex Woody, Aromatic, Floral). All in all, perfumania is pretty good and always have good deals going on. And i have to add that every fragrance i bought from them was 100% legit and fresh.
