"Tried to order Philips Sonicare C-1 toothbrush heads on their own web site shown at $14.95 reduced from $29.99, but when I placed the item in my cart the price changed to $29.99. Called customer service and a foreign voice told me sorry but $29.99 is the price and hung up. I then tried to chat with customer service,, but after a message that someone was on with me, no response. Then, I called back, explained the issue and asked for a supervisor. I was put on hold and then hung up on. Called again and asked for a supervisor and was transferred to a busy line! Each time I maintained my cool and was very polite. I have never experienced such incompetence! Plus, the refusal to sell a product at the price their own web site clearly offers it is just the height of corporate disconnectedness. I think I'll just trash my sonicare and buy another brand rather that support such idiots! You would do well to avoid Philips as well."

"I am a employee at Philips and ordered a baby monitor when I got my package and opened it I received a baby sippy cup instead. I called the store twice and they told me that I would be receiving a email to resolve the issue in 3 to 5 business days. I waited a week called again and the second time they told me that they were catching up because they were behind and said that they would be sending a email in another 3 to 5 days. waited another week. Called again and they said they never received a call from me. My wife started to call and they gave her a claim number finally but still after 6 times of calling and talking to 10 different people we got tired of it!! the last time we called they said that they are out of stock of the monitor and it would be another month. Then they told us we had to send the sippy cup back to get a refund! when they should of just let us keep the sippy cup! for the amount of time and effort trying to just get what we paid for they gave us a $15 coupon. I will never buy from the Philips online store ever again "

"Had an Philips MR16 light bulb warrantied for 6 yrs. Broke after 3 yrs. Contacted their support number twice which had horrible voice quality, we were not able to understand each other.
So I email their lighting support twice, no replies to either. Their email also does not allow me to attach the pictures I wanted to send.
This isn't a high dollar item @ $20 or so dollars back 3 years ago but would have been nice to get some support on this.
I do have other Philips bulbs because I guess they are a pretty big player in this area.
However, if/when you buy Philips, ignore any warranty promises made by Philips because you will get the middle finger from them if you ever want to make a claim.

"I purchased an item from Philips Online Shop which should have been delivered to my flat by UPS. Two weeks later I called customer services as the item is nowhere to be seen. I was told that UPS attempted delivery a week previously and had left a card explaining that I should now go and pick up the item from one of their pick up points. This is miles away from where I live. I explained that a card was never left and therefore, as far as I can tell, the delivery was never attempted (UPS have done this before, they don't always bother attempting delivery and conveniently deliver the item at their pick up point instead). Given I spent £270 I said that I wanted the item delivered to me as I wasn't prepared to trek miles across London. But nope, they believed UPS as opposed to me (the client), so I've asked to cancel the order and to speak to a manager to make a complaint. Appalling service, will never buy from them again."

"I purchased baby bottles through Philips online. After 2 weeks, and when they told me there was no ETA, I requested to cancel the order. Order never got cancelled and then it has taken over 2 months, 10 phone calls, and 3 emails to get the bottles back. Now, Philips has had their product back for over 2 weeks, and still no refund. I was told the shipping label they gave me had the wrong Philips address and it would take an additional 6 weeks to get a refund IF it was approved. I even spoke with a manager who told me there was nothing he could do. I have been sent in circles. WORST company I have dealt with this far. NEVER AGAIN!"
