" I bought the tripod from this store on Thursday, Nov 25th 2009, also paid for FedEx 2nd day shipment. The next day I sent message to the store, asking about shipping time. The seller replied saying he can't ship right away due to holiday, offered to ship on Saturday for next Monday arrival. I agreed. Then seller sent me another message, saying Monday wasn't possible either, need to wait until Tuesday. I agreed again.
Next day I got very nasty e-mail, where seller said he does not want to deal with me (??). After looking up the store site I found out that my account wasn't available anymore. I sent another message, and the seller replied that he sent my money back to Pay Pal. I directed Pay Pal to send money back to seller, saying that I did not agree to cancel the transaction. In return, the seller just stripped my account from the site and sent another rude e-mail.
It was always my understanding, that the finalized transaction cannot be cancelled without mutual agreement. The moment someone buys something and pays for it, both the seller and buyer are in contract. I contacted Pay Pal, and was told that if I bought the item through EBAY, they would be able to force the seller to honor the contract. But I bought the item directly from the seller's site, so they could not help me anyhow.
Three days later, I saw the same item on seller's site for much higher price, and only then I realized what the reason for such a rampageous attitude was. These guys do not deserve anyone's trust, so please better avoid dealing with them. At least, you were warned.

"These folks are great! I bought an XSi camera armor from them on Ebay "buy it now"(for the camera I was planning to buy the next week). They answered my pre-purchase questions within 2 hours, then when I placed the order they confirmed then shipped within 24hrs. I went for the free shipping so I expected it to take at least a week. I had it in 4 days. While the armor was in transit I had a chance to get hands-on with a 40D. Yup, you guessed it; I bought the 40D instead of the XSi.I emailed and asked if I could exchange and pay difference. Marv at Philly Photo answered my email within the hour and was great. No problems with returning/exchanging. They shipped out the 40D armor the same day I shipped the XSi armor. I had it in my hands in 3 days. It was so nice to have a safe and secure online shopping experience. I'll definitely order from Philly Photo Supply again, without hesitation!"
