Ordered a Nokia digital camera from them several months ago. Received an email requesting more information. Even though price was specifically stated on website, had to argue with the guy for 10 minutes until he finally said he'd ship it. Very luckily, no money had been charged/authorized to the debit card I provided at this point.

Checking status after a couple of days indicated that nothing had been sent.

Called again. This time "salesman" (and I use the term loosely) said that the price indicated a grey goods version of the camera (meaning that it had no warranty, and all documentation was in Chinese).

This guy was exceptionally unpleasant and quite rude. I wasn't very responsive to him. He transferred me to a different salesperson who was somewhat more pleasant. This salesman said nothing about selling the camera as a grey good. He focused solely on selling the camera at a higher price than advertised at the website.

By this time, I really had no intention of buying anything from these characters. I wouldn't trust them with anything. In order to prevent a charge to my debit card, I used my cell phone to transfer money from my checking to my savings account while on the phone with them. Fortunately, the time that these spent with me on the phone either haggling or just being plain nasty gave me enough time to accomplish this.

I terminated the conversation as abruptly as I could.

Subsequently, for a period of about six months I received emails from Photo Connection telling me that I needed to call them because my they were (obviously) not able to charge my debit card. These emails were sent to me literally daily on weekdays. Finally, after over three months, I did receive a final email from them telling me that my order had been canceled.

Beyond the ugliness of having to deal with these guys, attempting to place an order with them also caused somewhat of any inconvenience. I had to replace my debit card, which took about a week.

All of the above aside, I consider myself fortunately because no money was ever charged to me. I shudder to think of possible problems that might have arisen if this shady company were to have had access to my money.

Overall, this was an unpleasant, nasty experience that I wouldn't recommend to anyone -- unless, of course, you like to be treated in a rude, condescending manner while being tricked into paying a higher than advertised price for an item.

"I ordered the Canon 5d (Original Model) and
paid for overnight shipping. They sent me an e-mail stating processing would take 48 hours, that is longer than overnight shipping. I called and spoke to Louis, who stated it would get to me in 2 days. Didn't I just pay for overnight delivery?

I let him know if I couldn't have the item within the 2 days he stated, I would need to cancel the order. He then stated I only bought the "wholesale kit" and did I need a battery? He was trying to upsell me. I said I only needed what came with the US camera with US waranty as boxed by canon. I don't feel good about this already, and will follow up to let you know how it turns out."

The reasons for cancelation: misleading advertisement, promising "free bonuses" and then charging for what you didn't order, scam, very, very, very rude and pushy sales persons, calling me bad names after my refuse to buy their extended warranty, insulting me when I tried to cancel order, absence of complete order information, impossible phone connection with supervisor or manager. They are bunch of liars. They didn't want to cancel my order, then lied that they sent TV and wanted money for never happened delivery, even there was free delivery in advertisement, I never got a proof of order and proof of cancelation of this order from them, they told that they were not going to charge my credit card and charged it for $1800 anyway. They are criminals."

Ordered Fuji Quicksnap 1000iso cameras, they sent Fuji 2 packs of 400iso cameras that were expired 07/2008. When i called the company thinking they simply flipflopped 2 orders the person who answered the phone was well aware of my order and that they sent the lower grade cameras and argued with me that he sent a "better" product because the 1000iso cameras were expired. Then they tried to convince me that i needed to just take some other camera product from them in place of the wrong order. Still fighting to get my refund.
