" Very reliable and honest merchant. They were one of the first to have the Canon 5D Mark II and I find this is often the case. While buyers await the arrival of new cameras at many of the big Eastern Photo Stores, Pictureline often has the cameras available before these stores do. They have a good notification system and I was able to call and order this hard to get camera. While many merchants have long preorder lists, Pictureline has a great notification system which is both fair and insures that they only sell as many cameras as they actually have rather than lining up preorders that can't be filled for months. They are simply the best Professional Camera shop in the West. I am a professional wildlife photographer and am choosy about where I buy my equipment."

"Unfortunately, I cannot give pictureline a positive review. Pictureline.com had a great price on an item i was looking for so I couldn't wait to make the order. I placed the order midday Friday. This was a time sensitive order for my son's birthday. Pictureline did not notify me until Monday that the item was out of stock. Their website obviously was not up to date either. I would not have known that the item was not available if i had not called them. On the call they said they would check with the manufacturer to see if they could get the product and the email or call me. I received no call and in fact had to call Pictureline to see what the deal was. They could not get the item. So at least 3 valuable shipping days were lost because of the lack of comunication and miscommunication on their website. I am disappointed with there service."

Pictureline.com prices are quite competitive (Very Good!) as are the shipping rates. They have a good inventory of items geared to the needs of photographers and many items are in stock.

The web site is well done, safe and easy to use. The ability to click on more than one item at a time to add to the shopping care would be the only thing I might want to ask for, this is not a problem just slightly slows down the shopping experience. The search for items on the pictureline.com site is quick and gets you to where you need to be with ease!

On the morning of 1 August (the expected delivery date)I expected to to find a tracking number. What I found was a revised delivery date of 3 August. I cancelled the order. I found pictureline.com. "I ordered a Canon Powershot S5 IS from Pictureline on June 26th. I am a professional photographer and I decided it was about time to purchase my first point-and-shoot digital camera.
