"Expect to be treated like a criminal by Piperlime if you place a fairly large order. I purchased a 3 pairs of shoes as an anniversary present for my wife. I provided all credit card information, security code, phone number etc. and the shipping information and billing address for credit card was the same. The only "suspicious" thing about my order was that it was for a few hundred dollars, although I purchased from other Gap affiliated websites before. Instead of shipping my order they called me twice at home to "verify the order information". Needless to say, I was away and my wife picked up the phone, so the surprise was ruined. Of course I called in, cancelled my order and explained that I refuse to patronize the company that treats their legitimate customers as criminals. Their excuse that this was done "to protect the company and me as a customer" is ridiculous, since I fail to see how shipping the order to the same address as the credit card billing address could harm either. I will not buy anything from Piperlime or any other Gap affiliated website in the future.

I liked my PiperLime experience better than Zappos. While Zappos shipped out my shoes quicker, they ended up taking 3 days to arrive from the date I ordered; same as PiperLime. But Zappos always seems to be out of my shoe size. Selection isn't quite as good as Zappos, but I found a pair of Penguin shoes that I haven't seen at any other store, and they are cute as buttons."
