"PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! In early August 2007 I ordered a lexus light scooter for my mother-in-law. In mid-August we received a comparable easy light deluxe scooter. I called a few days after receipt of the scooter because several items/attachments were missing, I was told they were on backorder and would be sent, and to make Planet Mobility aware we received the wrong scooter. We decided to keep this model to try as we were told we'd have a 30-day trail upon arrival date of the scooter. After trying it out for 2 weeks I called in to get a return label and was questioned as to why I wanted to return the item and I explained that several parts were falling off the scooter and it seemed very unstable, it would tip over easily on turns and my mother in law did not feel safe. Assured that the return label would be sent out postal mail I waited a week and then called back because no return label had come. On my second attempt to get the return label I was again questioned as to why I wanted to return the scooter and if a replacement could be sent instead, I explained that my mother did not feel safe on this scooter and really did not feel she was ready for a scooter yet in her life, the CSR man said fair enough and a return label would be sent out regular mail. Concerned that the delay would extend beyond the 30 day return period I had them document this again in their computer and was re-assured that there would be no problem with the return/refund. After a couple weeks went by and 2 more calls regarding the return label with re-questioning each time why I wanted the return the scooter, the fourth person I called sent the return label. I received a partial credit in mid- October, called in to find out why and was told that I did not return the scooter within 30 days. I had them check the records and was told my previous conversations were documented and a full refund would be processed. I have since called every week until now mid-November and still have not received a full refund the remaining amount is $460.50. I would also like to make a complaint on the mistreatment and unfair business practices this company is making people go through and their unfair dealings. "
