"I live in New York and one day after months of reasearch I decided to purchase a Japanese Xbox 360 and a few region exclusive games. I decided to purchase from play-asia after many discussions on several forums. I gotta tell ya I couldn't be happier. First off they responded to any questions I had very quickly. I paid for the Fedex shipping option and prepared to wait a while for my new toys. You can check online to keep track of how your order is going - what is ready to ship and what is still being packaged or whatever. They had two of my games ready before the rest of my stuff and instead a waiting they sent them out with NO extra shipping charges. Then, they shipped out the rest THE NEXT DAY. Here's the kicker - I have no idea if this is standard or what and I didn't pay extra for it - the sent it OVERNIGHT. Seriously they sent it on a monday from Hong Kong and I had it the next morning in NY! They did this with both orders too. It costs 2x what I paid for shipping to overnight a same weight package from NY to Cali. I work in a shipping dept. so I checked. Like I said I have no idea if this is standard but I am very impressed with Play-Asia. I've already ordered MS points for my new NTSC-J console and am planning on pre-ordering DeathSmiles 2. So if you live in the states and want to buy some region exclusive games Play-Asia is where it's at. And NO I don't work there or whatever hahaha."

They have a lot of great items that no other store seems to have. No, I got weekly newsletters, without any mention of delays due to the volcanic-catastrophe;
Even after the situation was clear, they still needed nearly a week to ship my order, they hadn't enough time to place it, seemingly.
Still, it has not even arrived.

it is unbelievable that an item, that is IN STOCK takes nearly a month from payment to being in my hands!

"This was a pre-order. Release date Mar. 18, but didn't ship until Mar. 22 while all other sites were able to ship on release.

And by Apr. 8 (18th day after shipping) still has not arrived. When messaged about it, was told to wait. Other people received it within 7 days with same shipping option.

Didn't even check to see if they really shipped it as I asked them to.

I could easily have got the game from another site. Will NEVER use Play-Asia again and YOU SHOULDN'T either."

"I was looking out for an answer in all these reviews but did not get it, so I am putting forward my experience here. I am a resident of Bangalore, India and if u r in India & u want to buy games from Play-Asia.Com, make sure that u select either UPS or Fedex as method of shipment. Other methods of shipment although are less expensive but the goods will never arrive for some unknown reason which I could not figure out.

Three of my orders suffered the same fate. Although Play-Asia would refund in the form of store credit the reshipping product is not guaranteed to reach and will not reach to any address of India and ur payment is gone for good.

I merged all my orders and placed a fresh consolidated order and opted for UPS shipping, it reached me in 4 calendars days from the date of shipping.

Another piece of information is that video games are subject to customs duty in India which is close to 20% of the invoice value, keep that in mind if you are ordering games from abroad.

Play-Asia customer service definitely can be improved, I always get a reply within 24 hours however they are very sterotyped replies which is a cut and paste from some standard formats they have.

The packing is always very good, with no chance of the product being damaged. Overall it is a good site to buy stuff however shipping procedure is completely screwed for India unless it is via UPS or Fedex.

"I ordered a rare asian CD via this website about two weeks ago. It shipped 5 days after I placed the order and arrived exactly 14 days after it shipped. I thought that was a long time for an order, but they warned it may take 5-10 days to ship and 5-14 days to arrive so I guess it came at about the right time.

"Well,it was my first time shopping from Play-asia and i was a bit nervous about the order.
It took 2 days for them to start preparing my purchase but that is to be expected as I ordered it during a public holiday in Hong-Kong.
Then the next day after preparing my order,it was shipped.
At first,I mistaken the ship in 24 hours(when adding a product to cart) as the time of arrival,but later found out that was the amount of time taken to ship the product out.
