Worst Company on the web.

"I ordered a $27 00 part from this company, I tried to return it never used and in the unopened package it came in. Poolweb stated this part could not be returned but could not provide a reason. This company is a scam stay away."

False advertisement, big scam

"My recent experience with Poolweb was consistent with what some of the others were describing. I ordered on Poolweb a WhisperFlo pump. The order was modified into something that was only part of what I ordered: the power motor end of the pump. I only realized when I received the order, which was several months after. The image of the original advertised pump has since been removed. When I called the company, the customer care person also lied that they never sold the entire pump. I immediately pointed out that there was an advertisement of an entire pump on their web as we spoke. I believe Poolweb knowingly uses false advertisements to attract customers and scams the customers to gain extra profits. "

FALSE ADVERTISING - FRAUD - UNETHICAL BUSINESS

"POOLWEB is a terrible company with absolutely no integrity, and is dishonest with their advertising. They commit fraud on their unknowing customers and commit FALSE ADVERTISING with their sales website. They do not care about their customers and fail to be accountable for any mistake on their part, even if it is at the expense of their customers.

I searched the web for a replacement filter for my pool and I found what I wanted on their site. My pool filtration canister was listed and there was an accurate photo of the filter I needed. When the filter arrived, it was 1/3 of the height it should have been at about 10" tall, when the filter I needed and the filter advertised was 30" tall. I immediately reviewed the web page where I made the purchase and in the description it actually did say "9-7/8 inch high" at the bottom of the small print description, but I honestly thought that was a typo since the MAIN product description clearly listed my filtration unit (TXC75) and showed an ACTUAL photo of the 30" high filter cartridge that was consistent with what I needed to purchase. So the item I was purchasing matched 2 of the 3 factors which led me to believe it was the correct item, but it wasn't. Furthermore, it is not even a "Pentair genuine replacement cartridge element" as stated - so there's more false advertising and fraud...

With it being the completely wrong product, I processed a return and they provided a shipping label - which in the e-mail states that they are going to deduct $10.60 from my total refund amount (17.5% of the cost of the product). I called them and explained the situation, but despite their displaying the incorrect photo of the item, they refused to fully reimburse me for my refund. Despite them being guilty of FALSE ADVERTISING, they refuse to reimburse me fully for the return. I tried my best to calmly reason with them, but they refuse to do the right thing and provide me a full refund. They simply do not care that they falsely advertised a product and have committed fraud on their customer. I guess they never heard that a picture is worth a thousand words. As an online sales business, they should know that their customers rely on photos as a big part of making purchases, and this should go without saying, but this company is not that smart - or they do and they are willfully defrauding their customers.

I do not recommend purchasing from POOLWEB as they refuse to be accountable for their mistake and expect the customer to shoulder the cost of the return shipping for a refund. They refuse to accept any responsibility and place the blame fully on the customer, even if the mistake is on them. This joke of a company has no integrity, they have no respect for their customers, and they have terrible customer service. POOLWEB is a completely morally suspect company absolutely without integrity. Their website is plastered with slick terms like "This item is backed by a one year Poolweb Guarantee" and "Hassle Free Returns", but none of it is true and it's all a sham.

They will be getting reported to the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission for their irresponsible sales practices, their false advertising, and their committing fraud on their unknowing customers - all with no cares and no remorse.

Never sent item.

"Ordered a part to my pool cleaner and the item never arrived. Was supposed to arrive by July 10th. Gave it a little more time. Emailed the company and was told I would have it by July 27th. Never arrived. Emailed again and was notified they would ship the item at the end of August. That would be 2 months after item was ordered. No communication from them on delays or anything, all communication was by me. Do not reccomend"

If you do not need the stuff you ordered, this place is for you!!!

"Ordered some pool supplies on May 4, 2020. Said it would ship by May 07, 2020. May 7 rolls around and en email says it will ship by May 22, 2020. May 26 comes around now it will ship by June 5, 2020. Any pool product that takes over a month to get in stock is not useful for pool season so they lost my business. I paid more locally but already picked up the parts i needed.

NEVER EVER will i recommend nor use PoolWeb.com

Terrible Service

"Through my local Ace Hardware I ordered a key 'blank' for my pool gate. I placed my order February 5. Today they notified Ace that it would be delayed - again - until March 6. Apparently the people who work at this company can't find an envelope and a forever stamp as that is all that would be necessary to mail this blank. Needless to say I am cancelling my order and will instead go to a locksmith. The really ridiculous thing about it is that they charged me $6.00 shipping! This company is a joke! Go elsewhere for what you need."

Avoid Poolweb.com at all costs -

"Poolweb made a mistake on my pool cover order and refuses to make it right. I waited 4 weeks for the cover and now I'm left before the winter scrambling to figure this out and disputing the charge with my credit card company. This is not how you treat customers! They should be embarrassed. They care more about losing $1500 than they do a valuable customer and all the negative reviews that will come from this! "

Go somewhere else if you are ordering online.

"They drop ship from the manufacture. They say its in stock but it's not. When I found out by an email the next morning saying it will ship in 6 days, the tell me I can't cancel my order which was placed less then 12 hours ago. I also have to pay a 25% restocking fee and the shipping to send it back."

The absolute worst!!

"Ordered a part got an email invoice . Then got a 2nd email saying the part would be shipped in approx. 3 weeks. I needed the part right away so I called to cancel order 1 hour after ordering. Was told I couldn't cancel since they already ordered the part from someone else. They lead you to believe they have parts in stock when they are just an internet middle man. I spoke to the so called manager who tried to tell me I couldn't cancel. I told him I was calling American express to tell them not to accept the charge. Suddenly I got a cancellation email from them. They were charging $55.75 for the part. I got the same part from SUNPLAY.COM for $39.00 and free shipping. Can you just imagine if you bought a defective item from them and needed to return it ? Do yourself a big favor and STAY AWAY from these RIP-OFF ARTISTS !!"
