"As always, my recent order for a new MacBook Pro 13" Retina, through PortableOne.com, was flawless and very impressive. All my initial emails, sent to PotrtableOne.com, regarding some pre-purchase questions, were completely answered and replied to (even on the weekends).

My MacBook Pro was very easy to order through the PortableOne.com web site. I was able to order my brand new retail boxed 13" MacBook Pro, for less than I could get a similar "refurbished" MacBook Pro directly from Apple. PortableOne.com's pricing was terrific, with free shipping, and no sales tax here in New York. The Macbook was sent out the next day after I ordered it, and 2-Day FedEx shipped to my home.

I have also previously purchased a new 2013 21.5" iMac, when the new models first came out, and once again I was very impressed with the order process that PortableOne.com offered me.

"The 15 inch MacBook is still the best laptop ever! I have been waiting for the 2015 refresh of the 15 inch MacBook. I love the performance and the keyboard is a huge improvement over the previous models prior to the Butterfly keys. I haven't tried the Force Touch trackpad before, so i didn't know what to expect, but i am loving it now, and it's a great improvement over the old one.

"I have been wanting a 12 inch MacBook since it came out this year, to replace my old MacBook Air. Overall i have to say i am very satisfied with it. I ordered mine in Gold from the website, and was able to pick it up at the store today.
Compared to this one, my old 2011 MacBook Air feels as heavy as a brick. I've heard people complaining about the USB-C port, but i actually don't mind it. Most of the devices i use are external drives, and mice, however i'm getting used very quickly to the new trackpad, and i doubt i'll need an external mice with this, and i'm sure the battery will last a lot longer.
I spend a considerable amoutn of time typing, and the form factor and new keyboard are perfect for my needs.
I have shopped at Portable One for a few years now, and i never had a bad experience. Very knowledgeable staff, ready to answer all my questions."

"Portable One offered the best price for what I wanted (Applecare.) When I called them, the sales person, Matt was very helpful. (Yes. There is someone 'live' on both chat & phone call!) Once the purchase was completed, Scott who took care of the registration of the product, handled the matter promptly. Only the reason one star was taken off, was because of their website. The Applecare is available 'electronically'. However, the web design doesn't let me choose the 'electronic delivery' & kept adding the shipment. Nevertheless, Matt took care of it manually. "I finally made the jump to Apple from Windows with a MacBook Pro, and was able to find the configuration I wanted at a great price (given that it's Apple, and there are no "great" prices).
