"The worst customer service from an online seller I've seen in a while. As soon as you place an order, making any changes to it is impossible. No phone # is offered and emailed requests for changes simply go into a black hole. Even if it takes them days to ship the item, they will ignore your requests to change the order and will ship the original item anyway. Of course, once shipped, they will offer you to return it for a "refund." However, given the price structure they use, where most of what you pay for is "shipping", sending the item back for refund makes no sense whatsoever.
Won't use this merchant again.
P.S. In response to Power101 below: I can speak only for my own experience of course, but, yes, I specifically joined this site to write a negative review. I suspect others stuck with unwanted or substandard merchandize also feel this is the only way for them to make up for what was clearly a negative experience."

The price was extremely low but you get what you pay for. The battery should hold a charge for close to 4 hours since it is 4700mAh battery but it only held a charge for 1.5 hours. Four weeks later and the battery holds no charge. Power101 offers a 3 month warranty but that is if they respond to their contact email which I have tried five times over the course of a week and a half with no response for a request to return the item for warranty. I recommend to others to avoid buying from them due to their poor customer service and poor products.

Where to start?
What everyone else says. Really low prices, bait and switch, padding shipping charges and poor customer service.
They offered batteries at a fraction of list price, so OK they are not expected to be 100%. $0.21 for a battery that lists for around $40, laptop batteries for less than a third and a charger that is a tenth of list all sounds great (all are new).
The laptop batteries will not take a full charge (they should have been more up front about that, which is probably because they are old - research on the battery technology yielded evidence of these kinds of problems exist where the batteries were not used for a long time).
The camera batteries do not meet the specs they listed.
The battery charger that was supposed to work with the camera batteries, but did not.
The shipping for the batteries was high! For two tiny batteries, two modest sized laptop batteries and a wall wart charger (all together a few pounds) they charged $36. The major carriers quoted $11-$16 for the entire package going coast to coast.
Their paperwork is… not informative. Lots of long numbers, but not so good on... little details, like where they actually are, setting expectations about costs or reliability. What is clear is what you owe them – which was not made clear up front.
FYI: additional research (and sorry experience) shows that sometimes really poorly constructed batteries can self discharge (like in your pocket while hiking) and present a real risk for things like chemical burns, damaged equipment and fire. Yes fire, I had a battery go off in my pocket and for fun added some dry leaves and got one going.
That the batteries are second rate is understandable (Caveat emptor). That the paperwork is... mysterious is concerning. That they shipped the wrong charger (perhaps my error, but an Email would have been nice if it were).
That they gouged for shipping is where it is not right. They are appealing to bargain hunters and to pad the shipping charges is not right. If they gouge on shipping what else might they be up to?"

Yes, the shipping seems high but the price of the batteries justifies it. I can get 6 BP-511's from power101 for the price of one Canon BP-511. It's not rocket science folks.

I was charged .21 for the battery and 5.31 for the shipping even though it came in an envelope for about .85 postage. I even was changed .43 tax on the whole amount even though the state tax in CA should only be on the .21 for the item.
