"PowerStart PC advertised a special price for a USB connector at www.pricewatch.com of about $10 with shipping. They refused to honor this price and tried to invoice me for about $15.
When I contacted ****@**** to adjust the invoice, they cancelled my order.
They are using Pricewatch to overcharge customers."
"Order 4 copies of Norton Anti Virus 2004. The subscription key on the CD received had previously been used. Received the software on 12/19/2003. Symantec says the subscription key code was used on 12/18/2003 which is prior to my receiving the order. Software cannot be installed. Maybe be conterfeit? PowerStartpc company does not answer any email messages nor do they answer their phone. "
"Found Norton AntiVirus on Pricewatch. Went to web site, selected 6 NAV + a few other items. Shipping came up much higher and out of line with size/weight of order (Checked on UPS web site). Submitted order (on a Saturday) with comments as to what I thought shipping should be, and asked them to confirm prior to processing. Got a call beginning of the week. They confirmed that shipping would be actually a little less than UPS estimate and also stated that a couple of items were out of stock. I authorized order, recieved it promptly a few days later. This is the second order I've placed wioth them. On the first one for multiple copies of NAV & NSW I also contacted them to verify price/shipping. Prices are very good, shipping cost very reasonable and fast. If you have any questions, I suggest contacting them first, but so far I am pleased with the service."

"Ordered Norton Anti Virus 2003. Package came promptly, but was Norton System Works Pro 2003.
When I emailed them about it, they gave me the choice of sending it back or of keeping SysWorks for the same price. I had originally wanted to exchange (wanting the 1 year license renewal in that edition of NAV2003 as I'm a driver writer and reinstall my OS regularly so don't want to mess with on line license extension certificates) but the sales folks verified that the SysWorks they sent me also has a 1 year license.
They "went the extra mile" for me on what was a (lets face it) pretty piddly sale.
I'll buy more from them."
"I purchased I Western Digital hard-drive and Windows XP EOM license. The hard drive was "DOA" no BIOS (3 different computers) can even detect it. The XP license Microsoft says is invalid. The tech support from Powestart was less then helpful. The only success reaching them is thru e-mail they don't answer their phones. I was told in e-mail that they would not replace the hard drive call Western digital. The license for XP They would do nothing about either. There are plenty of other venders on the internet, STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!"
"I placed an order for a Radeon 9500 Pro, which showed as in stock. However, after placing my order I was notified that they were out of stock on this product, and could not confirm when stock would be available. While I wish that their web site had been accurate, I was at least appreciative that they cancelled my order quickly and efficienctly.
One BIG caveat, however. I tried calling their sales line the day after I placed my order and the number was disconnected. Their help line just rang busy. I would never try to buy something from them again simply because of this."

"STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! I bought an IBM 40gb 60GXP from them over the summer. Needed to RMA it recently, and when I tried to call, they blocked my number.
I call IBM and they say my hard drive was stolen by them!!! IBM, in close contact with the FBI are investigating so I was told.
WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM!!! From one of the above posts, the address to this company is a person's house...so I wouldn't trust them.
