"Placed order 12/6/17 10 days prior to cut off for Christmas guaranteed delivery, have 5 documented emails & "live chat" conversations up to & including 12/22 guaranteeing UPS next day air Saturday 12/23 delivery. Received email Saturday 12/23 @ 2am telling me they were unable to ship in time for Christmas. This was a gift for my son, now 2 days before Christmas I have no gift for him & I'm out the money I charged on my credit card for this purchase. "
"This company is a ripoff. Ordered two shirts - for 80 bucks! - on Dec. 4. It's now Dec. 22, and they are still "In production". Meaning these people are completely incompetent. I have tried to cancel the order and asked for a refund twice. Their lying customer service reps, rudely, tell me to get stuffed. It's the holidays and they are busy. They will ship the next day. Last week was the last time I was told this. I'm sure their crappy shirts will schlep up to my doorstep sometime in the middle of January, if I'm lucky. NEVER, EVER again. Judging from the other reviews, they'll be out of business by July. I hope."
"at first I believe this company would be great. I found what I was looking for. My problem came from the costumer service! I had called and asked to get my package delivered sooner due to me going out of town. The man told me if I paid an extra $30 I can get my package in 7 days. Well my package came 4 days before the date the man told me it would come. I called and explained that there was no point in paying the extra $30 if my package came before he said it would. I was told I “should be happy because I got what I wanted, my package came early” and refused to give me my $30 back. So I basically paid for my package twice !"
"Very polite as they tell you they can't help you at all. You must prove with a picture and ruler sent to them that their size charts are.... "off the charts" And just no warehouse or anything like that they can house to make returns or exchanges. Try and find that on the site anywhere readable!
Supposedly "customized" and the reason they can't help you is a product you can get almost anywhere. No number or name monogram. Just lettered logo usual that you can get elsewhere with better service.
I hope they sink fast to much better competition."
"The service and product this review is regarding (a very white collegiate sweatshirt) was purchased as a congratulatory gift from my mother. After a long day at work in the pouring rain, I noticed the package lying on my porch. This was surprising since she had ordered this only a couple of days prior. However after opening I was quickly disappointed to see that rain water and dirt had somehow leaked into the package placing an obnoxious and obvious stain on the front of the bright sweatshirt. I immediately called Prep Sportswear expecting to have to struggle through an automated phone service then argue with a customer service representative over the rain-soaked and stained product as many companies have treated me this way in the past. However this experience was very different. I was immediately greeted by Teresa, a representative, who attentively listened to my story and quickly placed a replacement order and offered estimated shipping times. She then apologized for the inconvenience, told me to call if anything were to happen like this again, and asked if there was anything else I required. Throughout the entire experience I felt like I was getting the VIP treatment without having to fuss or complain. I would absolutely recommend this company to others and plan to use their services again. Thanks Teresa, Crystal, and the PrepSportswear team. Keep it up. "

My expectation since it was a custom order we would be out of luck getting a change but Josh in customer service acknowledged that the item in question ran small and offered to replace it with a larger size. "READ THEIR FINE PRINT - and then don't buy. The U of Chicago t-shirt I ordered for my 92-year-old size small mother, a UC grad, was WAY too tight and the sweatshirt's sleeves were 5" too long. Prep Sportswear will not refund under any circumstances. Customer service insists on sticking with the letter of the policy (fine print!) versus doing what's right."
"Do not buy from this company. I paid extra for 2 day shipping and it has been 10 days and I still do not have my order. When I called, the customer service person was less than sympathetic and seems to have had this issue before as her answer was fairly scripted. I do not recall seeing any statement that said their items are "made to order" and take 5 days before they even ship. I would not have purchased if I had known that. She seemed pretty proud that according to them, my order was "ahead of schedule". False advertising!!! "
"I feel like the ones giving this site 5 stars are rather suspicious. I made a purchase from them and when my item came in the material looked nothing like that of the image and the quality from the looseness of the clothing, quality of the material, cheapness of the logo, and bagginess of the sleeves (this is short sleeves, mind you) was NOT worth my time and money. I paid close to $40 for one shirt, and this is WITH a 20% off discount (which means I would have paid even MORE if I paid during another time). The quality and shirt is worth $20 tops, that's probably with shipping and handling. Purchase elsewhere, I know I will from now on. "
