"The reviewer "Review sale" said exactly what I would have said. I had the exact same difficulties and discrepancies. The only difference was, my purchase was a gift for a ten year old boy. $50 for what came in the mail is outrageous. Be warned, I don't write negative reviews often."
"As with other reviewers, I am very disappointed! Quality is cheap, it's like the cheapest light weight sweatshirt you could buy at Walmart with a college logo stamped on it for $50. Not only was it LOW GRADE quality, but also too small relative to all other clothing purchased elsewhere with the same size. If the description stated they ran on the small size and I should be a bigger size, then I likely would not be writing this review, NOT AS DESCRIBED! No return policy, only offered 20% coupon for next purchase. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! I WISH I HAD READ THESE REVIEWS BEFORE I BOUGHT FROM THEM! "
"Prep Sportswear listed our team colors as royal blue and white, and had not properly gauged the information for the current season (the colors were actually black and white). I paid thirty-eight dollars (w/shipping and handling) for a t-shirt, only to find out that my shirt matches the other teams in the league instead of our own. When I contacted customer service, they were unapologetic, and offered me a twenty percent off code good toward my next purchase (of another over-priced t-shirt). So much for trying to support the kids."
"Email communications are the worst. Sent wrong colors; sent wrong print; split shipping on order without clear explanation. And, no response to four emails to their (nonexistent) customer service department."
"Wish I would have seen these reviews before I ordered from Prep Sportswear. Ordered item for Christmas on 12/15/12 and was given response it would be ready in plenty of time for Christmas. Did not ship until 12/27/12 and got a "sincere apology" from them, for what that was worth."
"The NO RETURN policy is a deal breaker for me. Ordered a sweatshirt...to small...I'm out of luck and $62
Never again!"
"Do not use Prepsportswear.com I recently had a an issue with their design website. I ordered one thing and they shipped/printed another. They would not allow me to return my product. Very poor customer service!"
"I ordered one product, a sweatshirt, from this company and would not recommend them.
It arrived quickly enough (1 star for that), but it was the poorest quality clothing you could imagine. The sweatshirt itself (which costs $70 alone) was made from the thinnest material imaginable. It was nothing more than a low quality t-shirt with an attached hood.
Obviously I was disappointed. I contacted their customer care department, requesting a refund and time to solve the situation. I gave them one week and received no response at all.
Definietly not a quality product and not a quality company."
"Completely UNSATISFIED!!!! Ordered a team jersey that was suppose to be a women's XL and looked like a girl's XL. I reviewed the measurements on their chart to order and fell into size L but went up a size as suggested. Form fitting???? No mom would be comfortable wearing something that form fitting to their son's game. Called customer service, lady was very rude and did not care that I spent almost $50 and unable to wear! Plan on spreading the word very quickly at our school to stay away from this company!! "
"Do not order anything from this business. I ordered a T Shirt in an XL, and the T-shirt came and was clearly a bit small. The first time it goes in the dryer it will be un-wearable. So I send them an email that I would like to exchange for a bigger size.
No Response.
I call in and have to navigate at least 6 levels of "if you want...press 3 now" stuff. When I finally get to a person and tell them (very nicely) what I would like to do the C/S agent goes into their standard "we do NO refunds, NO exchanges POLICY" rhetoric. She could care less that I bought a $38 shirt that doesn't fit and will do nothing for me.
Absolutely horrendous customer service that is as close to speaking with an insurance adjuster as I can imagine.
You are warned."
"I would recommend that buyers avoid Prep Sportswear as the customer service is well below market. Order fulfillment time is very poor, shipping problematic but ultimately, the inability to talk to a live agent, get a reply, to address short shipping is a major problem. "
"I ordered a blanket with a college logo. It took double the time of another company that I ordered a blanket the same day. I was emailed after 2 weeks that they were redoing the order due to poor quality. I was very disappointed that the logo is tiny. When I called to voice my complaint, I was told there was nothing they could do. I would never order from prepsportswear again."
"I ordered two shirts to determine the quality of this product and was told I would have the shirts in hand within 10 business days. Here it is nearly a month later and I am still waiting for my product. First I get an email saying the item was shipped, then I get an email saying it is delayed for poor quality and now Prep Sports alleges the shirts were already shipped. I can not contact anyone by phone, nor does anyone return emails.
This company is obviously a SCAM, and I am contacting the appropriate authorities. Do not order from them, the overpriced shirts never arrive and customer service is non existent. "
"I ordered one shirt from PrepSportswear, confirmed as "shipped" on February 28th. The tracking number they gave me was reportedly invalid.
I emailed them about it the day the order was confirmed and received no response. I filled out the customer feedback form on their website and also did not receive a response. It is March 12th, and I remain shirtless."
"I ordered one semi-custom-printed t-shirt with three customizable items printed thereon; the name of the town of the high school I went to, an athletic "drawing", and the nickname of that high school's sports teams. The order was completed before the promised time frame, and was shipped Priority Mail and arrived in two days. The shirt was very nice.
PrepSportswear is recommended."
