"As far as invoice #, I don't have one because I never received any product from this company. I had made an online order from this company's website on 8/19/04 to purchase a Canon Pro1 digital camera. Later that day or on the next, we received a telephone call saying that the camera was not in stock, when in fact their website said it was in stock, and that they did not know when the camera would be available. They said they would issue a credit for the amount charged to our credit card. On 8/20/04, a credit was posted to our credit card account, however on 8/24/04, another charge for the exact amount was posted to our credit card again. And now, we have tried calling and emailing this company, with no success. Looks as though they have closed up shop; they have stolen from us and who knows how many other people they have done this to. What frauds!"
"PRICELER.COM IS THE BUSINESS FROM HELL! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PRICEIT4LESS.COM. DO NOT BELIEVE REVIEWS OF SELLING COMPANY WEB SITES. They have a vested interest in lying. When I found Priceler.com they had a review rating of 2.1 out of 5 stars. CHECK COMPANY REVIEWS AT THIS SITE. PRICELER.COM’S REVIEW RATING THERE WAS 2.1 OUT OF 10 on this date 6/1/04. A SLIGHT DIFFERENCE WOULDN’T YOU SAY? My suucky story follows.
I ordered a camera on 6/1/04 as they said it was in stock. They emailed me back to verify my email address. I called them and asked when it would be shipped. They said not until the next week, probably Tue the 8th. So at 4:30 PM on the 8th, I looked on the web and the status said still in the warehouse, so I called about it. They said they were waiting shipment on the cameras, though I was told originally they had it in stock. So I told them that I was told it was in stock before I ordered it. You were? Oh uh!! I said I had waited long enough and cancel the order. That same day, on the 8th they tapped my bank account for the amount of the transaction. On the 9th I called and the status was not “canceled”, but still in “warehouse” WHERE IT REMAINS TO THIS DAY. So I called again. They said they could ship it 2nd day air today. And why did I want to cancel. Uh, I don’t know, perhaps too many lies by now. How could I possibly believe they would actually ship it anytime soon after all the differing stories? I said I had canceled yesterday and again today and how could they possibly tap my bank account after I had canceled. I spoke to the manager Anthony, who said their billing department could not credit my account back again for 5 to 7 business days. I asked, if they could tap my account in a matter of hours after I canceled, why could they not put my money back in the same amount of time. He just said, that’s how long it takes our “billing department” to put the money back. And he said the order had been canceled.
I called the number that was listed on my bank statement by Priceler.com, or 1-***-***-****. It turned out to be a fax number. NO LUCK THERE!
I called back on the 16th, a week after the cancellation and 15 days after the initial order and got the same wait message. I waited 21 minutes before someone finally picked up. I asked for the billing department. The salesman said the billing department would not be open until 11:00 AM. I waited and called back again after 11:00 A.M. Again after ANOTHER LONG WAIT, I asked the same salesman for the billing department. The same salesman who put me off before, when I asked for the billing department just said, can I help you. Apparently, HE WAS THE BILLING DEPARTMENT NOW. I asked where my refund was. He said, it would take ten business days not counting weekends to get my money credited back. I said, you told me 5 to 7 days before. “Well it normally takes about 10 business days”. I said thank you to which he LAUGHED OUT LOUD AT ME. Satan himself couldn’t have produced a more sinister laugh.
The salesman/billing department laughed at me when I asked for my refund after waiting a week FOR THEIR MISTAKE. The status of my order on their web site on this day the 17th still said “in warehouse” not canceled or some other indication that anything was happening at all. After waiting so long and having them extend the charge reversal I decided that there was nothing they would not do. I think they planned to put me off and keep my money for as long as I would take it including forever if possible. My only recourse then was to file a claim with my bank for a reversal of the charges for lack of delivery of goods.
ITS COMPANIES LIKE PRICELER.COM WHO GIVE BUYING ON THE INTERNET A BAD NAME. AGAIN, PRICELER IS THE BUSINESS FROM HELL.
Priceler.com is Jerks, liars, cons and thieves. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PRICELER.COM. By The Way, my bank account was tapped by “PRICEIT4LESS.COM”. I SUSPECT THEY ARE CHANGING COMPANY NAMES UNTIL THEIR RATING IS SOOO LOW THAT BUSINESS SUFFERS SUBSTAINTIALLY AND THEN CHANGE NAMES AND BEGIN AGAIN. It’s far too easy for cons now days, is it not?
I finally had to go to my bank and have them reverse my credit card charges. Priceler would have kept my money forever if I hadn’t.

"These guys are out and out liars! I ordered on 5/7/2004 an in-stock item and paid extra for 3 day shipping. 3 days go by and I call… the item is back-ordered, but don’t worry your credit card won’t be used until the item is shipped. 2 days go by and my credit card is charged… they needed to bill for the item before the “drop shipper” would ship, but the item will be shipped in 5 days. Why are you waiting I said… one moment please… it will be shipped tomorrow. 2 more days go by… the item will be shipped tomorrow, again. The next day, they said it would arrive in three days. 3 days later, the item is on back-order. I have canceled my order, but I can’t get in touch with the person (out of 200 people that work there) that handles cancel orders. I hope I get my money back, but it is probably on back-order. NEW NOTE: They said my order would be canceled, but just received notification that it was shipped, what do I do now that I bought another one from a reputable company?!? 5/19/04 Their manager said to refuse the package and I would get refunded. 5/21/04 I refused delivery from UPS. 5/25/04 UPS delivered the item to them and I guess I’ll have to wait and see if I get my money back."
"I ordered a Sony Camcorder on 2/24/2004. The Priceit4less company does not tell me anything from the Camcoder's status. On the Web, they stated that the camcoder is in stock. Because of their silence on my order, I had to call them and learned that the camcorder is in back order for 3 to 4 weeks. If I don't call then noway I can know my camcorder's sttus. I'm currently looking for another company to order another camcorder and will cancel my order with Priceit4less. Today, I just called them again and they still told me that the camcorder is still in back order and I have to wait another 3 to 4 weeks."
"COMPLETE RIPOFF!!! Should have done my research before ordering. Just do a search for priceit4 less and read the horror stories. PCworld.com. Ordered for Christmas, was promised delivery. NEVER recieved product . NO email response. If you call you wait for an hour to talk to the only person there, "Jason". Canceled 1 month AFTER Christmas. Ordered from Someone else, got it in three days!!"
"I ordered this camera as a gift for my son on 8/22/03. There was no indication that this camera was on backorder at the time. I was called soon after placing the order to see if I wanted to purchase a memory card -- which I declined to do. I was then told it would be 4 weeks before the camera would be delivered. I was not happy, but the price was good so I agreed. I checked out their website soon after and noticed that the camera had been reduced by $10, so assumed that they must have been receiving some stock. It is now over 4 weeks, so I again called to check on the status and was told that they have no stock. I cancelled the order. Don't order from this site -- deceptive business practice."
"It's been 7 months since I ordered and received my purchase, but I just had to air my complete disgust for this vendor. Aside from their "extreme" high-pressure sales tactics (pull you in with a low price for your target merchandise, then start cramming high-priced accessories down your throat to "guarantee" timely delivery of desired item), this group of malcreants is out-and-out dishonest. They said on their site that they were a "customer certified store" on bizrate.com - an absolute lie! (confirmed this with bizrate):
"Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This merchant is currently being rated on our site but they do not meet the qualifications for a customer certified store. We are aware that they are using our logo and we are in the process of having it removed. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. We appreciate your help."
The Nikon digital camera I purchased from them was NOT for sale in the US, which salesman "Mitch" assured me it was (this was later confirmed by a conversation with the Nikon US office in NY): A "J" instead of a "U" in the UPC label, Asian printing all over the retail box, a non-Nikon warranty card, the software bundled with the camera was supplied on CD-R media with cheesy paper labels and in cracked jewel cases and the menus in the camera initially came up in Japanese (fortunately, there was an English selection available).
Additionally, this camera had indications that it was used: It wasn't wrapped in it's protective padding inside the box (the foam wrap was just stuffed in there), there were fingerprints all over the LCD screen and lens - right out of the box, some of the accessories were out of their original packaging and the sequence numbers for the pictures in the camera started at 315.
As a final blow, the retail box had been defaced by putting tape on it and peeling it off so that the glaze layer had been peeled and torn off in several places making it non-returnable under their "no return if retail packaging is damaged" policy. I confronted their sales guy "Mitch", on the telephone, with all this and his response was "that's just plain tough!" "Caveat emptor" has a permanent residence at this vendor.
On the plus side, the camera has not exhibited any problems and has performed satisfactorily since December, so I guess I should be thankful that I'm not out the $700+ for the camera and accessories.
All I can say is that these guys need to be behind a bunch of thick, vertical bars, roomied with a big, depraved hulk named "Bubba" (not profiling here, but.....)"
"Website indicated Sony Cybershot DSC S85 was "in stock." Ordered: Friday, April 18, 2003. On Monday, April 21, 2003, my Mastercard account was charged.
I checked for the next several days, awaiting for the items to be shipped. When they were not shipped by Friday, May 2, 2003, I called Priceit4less.
I was told that the camera was not in stock and that Sony no longer made the model. When the new model came in, I could decide if I wanted the new model. To this, I said, "You have my money. Are you going to send me a camera or not?" I was told that, yes, he had checked with his Sales Manager, and I would receive the replacement model (a Sony V1) along with the "kit" mentioned above. However, Priceit4less had not yet received the new model from Sony and would have them the next week.
Starting May 7, I called Priceit4less asking if they had received the shipment from Sony. They advised no. The dates of these calls (in addition to May 7th) are:
May 12, 2003
May 14, 2003
May 16, 2003
May 19, 2003
May 28, 2003
June 2, 2003
Each time I called, I was assured I would be receiving my camera. On June 2, 2003 I was advised that the cameras would be received on Tuesday, June 3 and mine would be shipped on Wednesday, June 4, 2003. Again, I re-confirmed that I would be receiving the camera and kit, which included the above mentioned items and was told yes. I was also told that my order would need to be "switched" and if I would call in the next day, Ted would set this up for me.
On June 3, 2003 I received an email from Priceit4less advising of a refund with no explanation. I called and asked why I was receiving a refund if my camera was being shipped. I was advised that they were preparing my order for shipment and that I should see a charge on my account for the new shipment. I asked for the UPS tracking number was told it would be emailed to me.
On Friday, June 6, 2003, I sent an email asking for the UPS tracking number. On Monday, June 9, 2003 I called again asking for the UPS tracking number. I was asked to call back on Wednesday, June 10. On Wednesday, June 10, 2003, I called 5 times. Each time I was told that their UPS system was down. On Thursday, June 11, I called again. Frank Mills, who claimed to be a manager, told me that I would not be receiving a camera because my money had been refunded and Priceit4less had sent me an email explaining.
I explained to Mr. Mills that I had been advised differently by Ted and asked what he intended to do to remedy the situation. Mr. Mills reply was "Nothing."

"Won Ebay auction, but after two weeks called only to be told "fire in basement" would delay shipment at least 4 weeks total. They charged credit card within 3 days, but took almost 2 weeks after cancelling sale to reverse charge. Appears to be a method to float money for a while. I wasted a lot of time and energy to try to deal with this company. Note that this was not an order, but an item that should have been instock for immediate sale on Ebay. Additionally, company refused to use emails for communication and instead responded by stating you must call to deal with problems."
"Called to order an "In Stock" Canon S50 digital camera and was asked if I wanted to purchase any additional acessories, when stated no... I was told that the order would be shipped in about 4 weeks, when I asked about the website stating that it was in stock the sales guys said no that means you can place your order today? Call me stupid, I thought that ment the camera was in stock and ready to ship? So, needless to say I did not purchase a camera from them... I smell a scammmmmmm"
"Priceit4less.com is a very dishonest company. After ordering a Nikon Coolpx 5700 for their advertized price, I was pressured to buy a bunch of worthless accessories which were at inflated prices. I refused and never got my camera. After repeated calls, a sales rep told me (6 weeks later)that they had no intention of shipping the order unless I ordered $399.00 worth of junk with it. Rec: stay away from these shady characters..."
"Powershot G3 order. Be at home when they call back or you you won't get your order processed as they don't leave an extension where they can be reached. Try to call them back...ETERNAL HOLD... LISTENING TO FRANK SINATRA SING YESTERDAY...OUCH! Finally got through to Billing and was switched back to SINATRA! After three 15 min attempts I used the Billing option again (option 2 on the 1-800 number) and before she could switch me to SINATRA, I begged her for the ext. of guy in sales…that worked cause it got me past the eternal hold process. So the guy tells me the camera is in stock but is attached with a ridiculously priced upgrade kit. They don't actually make much profit off the camera itself it seems. So buy their overpriced upgrade kits or wait 8 weeks for them to get the camera from the manufacturer! Got the same thing with Bilibi.Com with same recorded messages – same people. Hmmm... Are they the same company?"
"Based on the comments of Evgeny, I decided to try out this company. I had planned on buying some accesories anyway and when I called in to confirm my online order, I expected and got the sales pitch to buy some added stuff.
Outside of that, everything went smoothly and I got my order on schedule and in excellent condition. "
"I rate this 5. I'me met what I expected.
I've bought Digital Camera Kit Olympus C5050ZOOM for $657 total, incl shipping.
For all who want to buy here: Don't even try to buy in PriceIt4Less only camera. Order a accessories too. Or see special KITs. I understand this from others comments.
http://www.priceit4less.com/shop/Product.asp?ProdTypeList=2050&Sku=C5050KT
I order it, and it delevered in time.
Of course, their acessories overpriced.... But where You saw a "free cheese" lat time :-) ? Only in mousetrap. So, their prices are good, but they are similar to other companies.

"I ORDERED A SONY DIGITAL CAMERA ON DEC. 26TH FOR A BIRTHDAY GIFT FOR MY SON. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE THAT I RECEIVED. THERE WAS NO HIGH PRESSURE SALES. THE PRICE WAS GREAT AND DELIVERY TIME WAS UNBELIEVABLE. I WILL DEFINITELY ORDER AGAIN SHOULD THE NEED ARISE."
