"Our company produces multiple trade events, so we do a significant amount of printing. Over the last three years, I've found that Printplace is always less expensive than our local printing vendors, and often less expensive that other online printers.
In addition, their online printing management system is superb...I can pull quotes, upload files, approve proofs, upload mailing listings, order and pay for mailing services from my computer. Throughout the project, automatic email notifications are sent to me: job status, proof status, mailing list status, delivery to post office, seeds received at their plant, etc.
With printing turnaround options ranging from same day to five day, I can have the flexibility to manage my printing costs while meeting the needs of my deadlines. Extreme efficiency is what I'm talking about here. I can literally quote a job, upload the production and mailing files, sign off on the proofs, and have the job on the press within a few hours!

While their excellent online automated system is great, sometimes we have projects that require some human customer service. And these folks are great! Between live chat, email, and telephone options, it's always quick and easy to get assistance. The tech support staff are friendly, fast, knowledgeable, and efficient. And they all based in Arlington, and they all speak English!
I've also had occasion to run printing jobs through Printplace that did not fit any of their standard jobs. Printplace has a job-shop counterpart that was able to meet our needs for extremely short-turnaround 80-page booklets which needed to be shipped across the country to arrive before our events opened. They found a solution for us, and their pricing for these projects was competitive with all other local and online printing quotes...including freight costs!
