"I received a damaged guitar that should have been sold as B-stock at best. Yet, all descriptions, advertised it as a brand new instrument without issues. It ended up being a big waste of time that could have been prevented with minimal inspection checks, from the manufacturer first, and from PAS before it made it out to the customer. Return policy, not accepting the guitar unless it had the original box, is also poor. Once again, a retailer that assumes no responsibility for their mistakes, but is quick to put it all on the customer. I know it's the new post-Covid reality, but it's still sad, and bad business practice."

"I bought a Chauvet lighting open-box item through Ebay Buy It Now. First item i received did not work (why was it not tested before selling to me as "perfect-as new condition"). Since it was purchased through ebay, ProAudioStar could not just do a quick replacement of the item (which was not stated in the listing). Your salesperson encouraged me to just purchase a second item through your actual website and pay extra for 2 day shipping to get it for a wedding that I was doing on Saturday. I did as you stated and ordered before 11 am ET to ship out that day and paid the extra $53 for 2 day shipping, only to have your people fail to request Saturday delivery, so the item sat at the Memphis hub Friday and Saturday, missing the wedding. You need to state more clearly on your website and ebay listings how your return/replace policy works so that this doesn't continue to happen to customers. And don't encourage your customers to pay for expedited shipping for no reason. I also asked for a refund of the $53 shipping fees I paid since it was useless but, of course, your company would not help with that. Still giving three stars because at least your company was quick to respond when contacted. Better replacement policy for damaged items or at least better explanation of it up front in the listing would have helped. Prob will not do business again for all these reasons and definitely will not recommend. "
"Took you up on your open box fiesta red D’angelico. Great deal. Open box special. Love open box specials. This one however was a USED guitar, badly needing a truss rod adjustment with rusty, hard played strings. Kinda nasty. Not really what I expect from “open box”? Also, Someone had a go at trying to adjust the pickup height. (pro tip. It’s not really adjustable). I now that it’s here I see the heart of the deal was really that the color doesn’t resemble the video I watched. At all. Instead of a warm red-orange fiesta red, it’s straight coral. Now I understand the fiesta red-coral controversy with fenders fading and yellowing but this is acrylic. And it’s straight up Tahitian Coral! Lol. Luckily I like it. all being said it’s still a great deal and I’m sure some of them won’t be as hard played as mine was. But the color will be a surprise. "
