"I mistakenly purchased the wrong model of Keystep. I noticed right away when I opened the box. I called immediately and was told that it would cost shipping and a restocking fee. I won't buy from ProAudioStar ever again. "
"In the return conditions, it explicitly states that any items returned with damage, packaging or missing literature or accessories will be charged a restocking fee. It also mentions a discretionary restocking fee, which you should really just be upfront and say that you charge for anything that is returned because the item I purchased was never even opened and was returned because I found a substantially better price elsewhere. Then when I called to discuss the fee with the customer service representative, which was completely useless and laughable. They couldn’t even say what discretion was used for charging g the fee but guessed that it “might be heavy?” (Despite being a mic preamp that my 8 year old nephew can lift up). All of this being totally regardless of the fact that I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of recording gear from your company over the years. Never again, not another dime. I now fully realize why everybody keeps their loyalty with companies like Sweetwater which are actually personable and don’t run their customer service off of completely pointless scripts. I’ll be sure to spread the word far and wide. "

"I was sold a Charvel So-Cal Mod Pro and it had a warped neck that needed replacement. Actually, the whole guitar needs replaced but they wouldn’t do anything to help me out because of some BS return policy. Now, I believe $300 on a new neck and it’s going to need to be fret leveled so that it is setup to my numbers. Never do business with these schiesters."

"I purchased a used bass guitar. The bass arrived on time and package was not damaged. The bass was set up well and exterior condition was excellent. Unfortunately, the bass was shipped with defective electrical components. There was horrible buzzing and it appeared someone did a poor job replacing the blend knob. The area under the knob was over routed causing it to be loose and to spin. Overall disappointing experience."

"Ordered guitar on 12/5. Tracking says delivery on 12/12, signature required, so I take the day off so I can be here because I have to sign for the thing. Then I get an update with ZERO explanation that it's now getting delivered on 12/17. So, I'm not happy with the slow to begin with shipping, then it's delayed another five days, AND I missed a day of work because of this."
"I ordered a great EVH Wolfgang Special from PAS and Paid $80 for next day on a Wednesday, fully expecting to receive the guitar on Friday if shipped on Thursday. The guitar was shipped on Thursday but got caught in Indiana then Tennessee and finally made it to Portland, OR on Friday night, too late to get to me. That was understandable BUT they would not deliver the package on the weekend and when they finally tried to deliver on Monday PAS had a "Signature Required" setup in addition to requiring that the item only be delivered on a weekday and my partner missed the truck by 3 minutes. I had to pickup late on Monday night after 6pm from the FedEx office directly near the PDX airport. I paid $80 to get a guitar that essentially would be delivered at the same rate a ground 4 days late for free. This was extremely disappointing. The guitar box had a hole in it when I picked it up but after thorough inspection there was NO damage or issues with the guitar itself, again great guitar but not great shipping service I am hoping to get some compensation for shipping charges from PAS. "
