"I ordered some Civic Headlights for my car, called them to ask a few regarding different lights.
They were very patient and answered all my questions. They also processed and shipped the product out the same day.
Very good service and fast shipping. Excellent prices. They also threw in free decals."
"I ordered from these guys and they called me the next day saying that they couldn't fulfill my order because my shipping address was different from my billing address. However, their website allows for orders with different shipping addresses. I even offered to 3 way my bank to verify my information. I live hours away from my billing address and this policy is ridiculous. Big hassle, and I ended up calling the guy a jack*ss and canceled my order. "
"ProCarParts.Com SUCKS - basically I was ordering a pair of brake rotors for my car from them at $110, AND they wanted $50 for handling and shipping!! Which is a complete fraud! Especially since they are 15min away from me! (they don't allow pickup or will call) - DO NOT purchase from these people - THEY ARE NOT honest."
"So I goto their site to order something. The price of the item comes out to $47.00. So okay, I go ahead and pay it and then check the site again the next day and the price dropped to $29! They also had a "was" price that was slashed out on their site that said $34. That's cheaper that what I paid for the item! Kind of nice of them to switch the price pretty much right after I ordered my product.
I sent them an email about it and got a pretty rude responce from the guy saying "Hi
Sorry, but there was no error since our prices change without notice."
I would not encourage anybody to do business with them. What you may order may drop in price over $20 the next day. I know its a common practive unmong retailers but even the price they list the item as originally costing was less than what I paid. There should be some kinda law against selling items for way more than the avertised price. "
"I ordered a pair of headlights for my 81 VW Scirocco and I really regret doing that.
The headlights were $25 and that sounded ok to me, add to that a shipping charge of $29, ok I live in Sweden so I guess that could be ok too.
Then I find out that I cant use Paypal to pay the bill but have to make a money order that cost me another $5, ok fine. A few days after that I get a mail saying since I live in Sweden they want another $24 for shipping, which of course will have to be paid with a money order that'll cost me $3 or so. Now were up to a total of $86 for an item that originally cost 25 bucks!!! Over 50 bucks are shipping charges for something that weighs about 2 - 2.5 lbs....
I'll never ever order anything from them again and I will go out of my way to warn others from buying from them !"
"Simply avoid. I bought a bumper and it does not fit. I tried to return for a month now. Avoid emails and phone calls. I reported them to BBB."
"Be careful with procarparts.com website. They don't care about their customers. I ordered a set of projector beams for my 1991 Honda Accord. They sent me a set that lasted all of 2 weeks before the passenger side low beam failed. Then the lights don't even glow ion blue like they do on the website. They send standard bulbs, but show pics of ion blue on the website. $300 for beams that failed after 2 weeks?
OK, then I ordered replacement bulbs, and even called them to confirm the type that I needed. I ordered, and I get a blue set. I go to get them installed, and they're the wrong bulbs. So I have to buy the bulbs again (not from procarparts), and the new bulbs fail a week later. Turns out this is due to the entire lamp and bulb assembly getting loose, and the vibration was blowing the bulbs. This time the high beam went too. They state on their website that they're not responsible for anything after seven days (warranty wise). But $300 is no small deal, it's a lot of money. All of this could have been forgiven, but when I wrote them an e-mail to tell them that this was a defective product, they never even responded. That was the biggest insult of all. Not the false advertising, or the incompetence of sending me the wrong bulbs, or sending me bad equipment. Just the arrogance of not responding to my complaint. Won't be shopping there again, plenty of other websites out there, but better yet, I'll stick to in-person shops, where they can't hide."
