"The initial rental went well until we returned the equipment. We received a call stating the battery we returned was the incorrect battery. My wife, who is the photographer, drove there with another battery she thought might be there battery, Prophoto called again later stating this was also the incorrect battery having a 2010 manufactures date, but had there sticker on it. My wife made second trip there and took a third battery, only to be accused of swapping the sticker, which she did not do. They kept the third battery, and said this was there battery with the sticker removed. I think there was a battery swap, but it happened before we rented the equipment and ProRental did not catch it. To accuse my wife and I is completely unacceptable behavior and we will no longer use ProPhoto for anything in the future. I can not express the displeasure I have toward the 2 gentlemen who work there."

"I saw glowing reviews on the DPReviews Olympus DSLR forum and since Oly rentals are hard to find I ordered an E3, 12-60 lens, and FL50R flash for a weekend wedding shoot. The equipment arrived two days EARLY! No extra charge! The equipment came with everything except a photographer; battery and charger for the camera, 2 gig memory card, batteries and charger for the flash.

Camera was in perfect operating condition, as were the lens and flash.

The equipment comes securely packaged in a pro-style metal case AND Jared provides a filled out, pre-paid return shipping label. You can call for pick up or trot it down to your local FedEx/Kinko's, as I did.

I couldn't be more pleased with the level of service and quality of equipment. Put me in the "will be a repeat customer" column.

I'm planning on renting the Zuiko 90-250mm as well as the Zuiko 150 f/2.0...heck, might as well rent the E3 again, while I'm at it.

Did I mention I'm really pleased with the service?

"After searching online for equipment rentals (my first time), I found ProPhoto Rental and immediately placed an order for a Canon 24-70 f/2.8 lens for a shoot. To my surprise, the shipment arrived 2 days early and I wasn't even charged! I did have some questions about returning the item and the staff at ProPhoto responded quickly with all the answers.

The shipping was excellent! The customer service was excellent! The experience was excellent! I will definately be doing business with these guys again! They come highly recommended!

"I can't remember the last time I was this satisfied with a transaction or company.

This is my first time even considering renting a lens and then after research one of VERY few that rent Olympus items...they even have the E3 body, which I almost rented but stuck with lens.

I rented the Zuiko Digital 50-200 f/2.8-3.5 SWD for my Oly E-500 for a NASCAR event and was surprised when it showed up on Wednesday instead of Friday. Jared told me that if it gets there early that is my benefit and there will be no extra charge...WHAT? I know amazing. He stated that FedEx actually contacted him on Tuesday trying to deliver it but since we where on holiday no one was here. When I went to set up return delivery I had gotten confused and set it up for the wrong day, I quickly emailed Jared and he worked everything out.

The fact that they had an assortment of different lens and bodies was enough to make me consider them, but when I looked at the price it was enough to sell me on it, and to put the fudge topping on top I got great customer service.

I will be using this company again and even referred them to another photographer at the NASCAR event.

"Equipment Rented: Canon EF 300 f/2.8L IS and EF 2X II Extender. This was my first rental from Pro Photo (in fact, my very first equipment rental) and it was a very nice experience for me. The staff at Pro Photo was very helpful and answered all my questions regarding the right equipment. They are very knowledgeable people when it comes to photography and photography equipment. They really helped me to decide which equipment I needed for my purposes. I didn't need my equipment until Saturday and I asked them how that would work with shipment, since I needed to leave on a trip really early Saturday morning. I expressed to them that I'd rather not pay an extra day when I wasn't using the equipment--if they were to ship it to me for receipt on Friday. They were very understanding. They told me they would ship it a day earlier so I would get it on Friday, but they wouldn't charge me for Friday. I was amazed that they were willing to do that, and was even more amazed when the equipment showed up on Thursday (rather than Friday)! This gave me the chance to play around with the equipment way before my trip. I was very pleased, to say the least. I used this equipment photographing Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks and was very happy with the results. I was really glad I found Pro Photo. The equipment I rented from them made my trip to Yellowstone a successful one."

"I rented a Nikon 200-400 VR from ProPhotoRental in May 2008. The lens was perfect. The level of service was great. The price was right, too, so I rented a D300 (relegating my D2H to back-up duty) and a 85 1.4. I'd recommend ProPhotoRental in a heartbeat and will rent from them again for similar events. "I was looking around recently to rent a lens for a wedding I was shooting. I was recommended to Pro Photo Rental on one of the forums and promptly visited and emailed them. My concern? I live in Canada. Not only was Jared extremely quick in responding and answering my questions, he had a few tips for when I should order and for how long based on potential customs issues. Once I placed my order he was very helpful in the tracking and setting up the return shipment. Although I had to pay for return shipping out of pocket because I live in Canada and FedEx won't authorize return shipping prepaid, it was still significantly cheaper than anywhere I could have rented the same lens locally. The lens was in excellent condition, and did the job as required!

I will definitely be renting from Pro Photo Rental again in the future! For those of you in Canada, add one day to the beginning of your order just in case it gets tied up in customs.

"Absolutely the best place to rent from. I have rented a D300 2x now & a VR lens as well. They always get the lens to you on time, make it super easy to ship back & have the best customer service around. I used to rent from leading rental companies in NYC but Pro Photo saves me the trip into the city. They are also less expensive than anyone else I have rented from. Really the best company to deal with!!!"

"We used a Zuiko/Olympus 150mm f2.0 for some nature photography this past week. Received the unit early even, so we got to play with it ahead of time. Very smooth transaction, no problems, and great communications. We'll definitely rent again. UPDATED>>>We accidentally left a tripod adapter on the camera and ProPhoto alerted us to this and is returning it to us...GREAT JOB & THANKS
With this lens...You'll want to assure you have a steady rest or use a tripod as it's heavy, and you want to assure no shake to get the best quality possible. Very nice lens.

"These guys are awesome. Email replies to questions usually within an hour or so, and they made sure all my questions were answered quickly and to my complete satisfaction.
My lens rental arrived on time (actually, a day early), neatly packaged and in great condition. Shipping back was super easy, thanks to their clear directions and included shipping materials. They can count on me renting from them again in the near future.

"ProPhoto rental service is a great place to rent camera equipment from. They always have what I need in stock, when I need it. They make sure the equipment is shipped to you on time. ProPhoto makes it so easy, all you have to do to return it is put the pre printed label on the shipping case and drop it off at your local shipping center. Customer service has been top notch. If any problems arise I know I can call or email and get a response right away. I would recommend ProPhoto Rental Service to anyone looking for a rental service."
