"We purchased a list of 130,000 emails for $600 - very inexpensive, however once I had the email addresses pinged at www.briteverify.com for $800, only 15% of the emails were valid. The end price was $1,400 for 19,500 email addresses. The other emails were unknown or considered risky. If we have a bounce threshold of 5% or less, we cannot use or risk being blocked by our service provider and also develop a poor "reputation". "
