"I completely do not comprehend how many customers give this seller any good ratings. Prior to the online order, I verified with the salesman the estimated delivery time (Sony KDL46W3000 - within 7-9 business days). I suppose that the merchant is a scrupulous couple trying to fool their customers that they have the whole floor of sale reps and even customer service. The salesman, whatever his name is, told me many inconsistent lies about the status of the orders as well as over charged my credit card. They are doing business at a third world level with extremely unprofessional, rule, and disinterested. I rather paid a higher price than support these kinds of business models. The order has been cancelled, yet I still have to wait to see how it is going to play out. Purchasing electronics or high ticketed items should be a pleasant experience. Instead, it was a bad experience and completely wasted of time with these guys. Save the troubles, buy from someone else. "

"THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD! I can't get a straight answer about my order. They promised (and I paid for shipping) of a SONY XBR4 46" LCD to be delivered in 7-10 business days. It is more than 15 now. The respoonse I get from the company is that "we have no control over the shipping carrier". I go to their website and they show the order "IN PROCESS". I never get a call back. SERVICE IS EXTREMELY POOR. This company needs to be removed from YAHOO, PRICEGRABBER - they are hurting the internet sales business. They are VERY BAD!!!!! DO NOT BUY from this COMPANY. "

"I first placed an order 8 weeks ago and i was asked to call to confirm the order. I was told the item was back ordered and will be sent in a week after waiting for two weeks i cancelled my order becoz they reduced the price and i reordered and i was told it will be shipped in a day or two. After two days i was told the order was shipped and i should get it within 10-14 days. Called after 10 days and after holding for 1/2 hr and being trasferred 4 times i was told the ordered was shipped and it will take another 2 weeks more and that was the time frame. Jimmy (Customer Rep) was so rude that he told me he cant talk to me anymore and hung up. now after waiting for 6 weeks they tell me that the item is back ordered and was never shipped. Calling to cancel the order they keep putting me on hold and never answer. Manager (Tony) has no respect for customers either. Talks to me a min ago and asks the girl to tell me that he is not in. Bunch of Liars. When asked to cancel the order customer rep starts cursing and threatening and order is still not cancelled...."FRAUD COMPANY"..."BEWARE"...Worst company to deal with."

"The item order was listed as in stock, but after ordering I was informed that it was not in stock and it would be two weeks before it would be in stock. After a month, I called and was told it was still not in stock and it was not known when it would be in stock."

"Highly unpleasant experience. Even though I ordered online, I was asked to call to "confirm" my order. When I called, I was told that the model I ordered was out of stock, but that they had a higher-end version for only $100 more -- a classic bait-and-switch move. When I asked to cancel the order, the salesman argued with me for another ten minutes before finally cancelling. I will never deal with this company again."

"I received 3 emails asking me to confirm my order by phone, which I did after the first message.
The online tracking system showed no shipping or delivery information for my order, despite the TV being in stock and due to ship in 1-2 days. Numerous phone calls, after waiting 10 days, to customer service, with long wait times and being cut off, resulted in no additional information confirming that my order had even been shipped.
I am VERY dissatisfied with this company and will cancel my order if I get no response today.

"I placed my order this morning, and per the email received, called to confirm my order. Was bounced around a TON between rude customer service people, until I was finally connected with someone on my second try calling. He confirmed my address, then said that the ground freight was not recommended to homes because it's not signature required, they do not set up a time, and they'll just leave it at your door (for a $4k tv!!!). THEN he said it's on backorder and won't be in for at least three weeks, but he'll call me to let me know when it arrives. I said no thanks, cancel my order, b/c it did NOT show backordered on the internet. My confirmation number DOES show "cancelled" status, so hopefully I won't get charged for it.

"Avoid these people! I placed an order online for a Sony TV late Friday night, Sept. 7. I got an email informing me that I should call them to verify the order. I called on Sunday, Sept. 9 to verify the order. They tried to sell a few additional items which, except for "white-glove" shipping, I declined. The white glove shipping plus insurance added $280 to the $80 upgraded shipping cost. The price is not quite as good now but I can live with it. They called back within an hour to tell me that they needed written confirmation from me that I understood that there was no warranty with the TV (contradicting what Sony customer service had told me when I contacted them earlier). At that time I told them to cancel the order. I checked the next day, Sept. 10 and the order was marked canceled. Three days later my credit card is charged for the TV!! I have not been able to talk to anyone at ProjectorExpo yet but at this point they deserve less than one star."

"Outstanding! There was a slight problem with a credit card and they called right away to resolve the issue. The order shipped the same day (within 2 hours) of placing the order and I received it 2 days before I was expecting it. I'm very impressed with the service from this vendor. I wish some others that I do business with would take some lessons from them."

"Just a few days ago I ordered an LCD TV through this company. I called the next morning to confirm my order just as the email instructed me. I was told at the time that my order was just fine. The next day I received another email asking to confirm my order again. Out of curiosity I called again. Now my order is canceled because they are sold out. I'm not sure what type of inventory tracking they use at this company but it sure isn't very good. I would look elsewhere to buy anything, as ordering through them is just a hassle that isn't worth the savings."

"Although they had good reviews that I checked before placing an order, I had a horrible experience, with multiple, blatant misrepresentations from their sales reps. Ordered on 11/3/06 with 10-14 day ground delivery. Sales reps lied to me on multiple occasions about product shipping on 11/7/06 (I say it was a lie because they never actually charged my credit card for that supposed shipment - What company does anyone know that will ship but not charge you). Called multiple times and they said they would track and respond to me within 72 hours each time, but never got any call/email response from them.

After the promised 10-14 day delivery period was long gone, on 12/12/06 I discovered that they finally charged my credit card but that the price charged was $200 more than on my order confirmation. Looked online and discovered that they had modified my order summary to list a different product price and different shipping cost. In repeated calls, they claimed I must have been told that my price was after a $200 manufacturer mail-in rebate [which was, in fact, good only towards installation costs]. Not only was I never told about having to wait for any rebate, but the rebate was not on the web site and MY ORDER WAS NOT EVEN ELIGIBLE FOR THE REBATE because the order was placed before the rebate period had begun. I was also told that my shipping cost was different because they had "upgraded" my shipping from ground to air delivery. But for the privilege of that unasked for "benefit," I was actually charged more than my original shipping costs. Although it was only slightly more than my original shipping charge was supposed to be, I should not have been charged for the all, if any, of the 10-14 day shipping costs let alone more given their complete failure to meet the promised delivery period or anything even remotely close to it.

Sent them email cancelling the order with summary of facts on 12/14. A week later, I received a dummied up invoice showing an order date of 12/12 (within the rebate period) and showing the increased prices.

Had to open a credit card dispute to get a chargeback.

"Ordered a 65" Panasonic plasma from them; their website said the item was in stock. Got an email asking me to call and confirm my order. When I confirmed the order information they explicitly told me that the item was in stock. One week later, after I had not received any other communications from them, I phoned again and was told that the order was faxed to Panasonic and that Panasonic would ship directly to me; I specifically asked if they were sure since this sounded weird. I was told to expect an emal from Panasonic within the week with the shipping tracking information. One week passed and I received no other communications from anyone. I phoned them again and was told that they would email me a tracking number immediately. Another day passed and still no communication from anyone. I phoned again and was told that the plasma's had just arrived at Projectorexpo and that mine would ship today or tomorrow. Again, I was told to expect an email with tracking information (by the way, this was today 12/19). When I angrily asked for an explanation of their deception, I was told that I must have misunderstood when they said Panasonic was shipping. The representative told me that this meant Panasonic was shipping to them not to me... I cried BS but didn't press the issue. I just said fine, please email me the tracking information tomorrow. I have no expectation that they will actually ship me anything tomorrow - my guess is they're just trying to buy time and hope they receive an allocation. These guys are con artists and full of BS. I'm waiting for DTV City to get them in stock so I can cancel my order with Projectorexpo (at least DTV City doesn't lie about what they have in-stock and they don't mislead their customers).

If you order from these people make sure to ask for the representative name (ALWAYS) and ask for whatever is promised to be emailed to you (I doubt they'll do the email part). Be careful.

Called customer service yesterday and was told that the package definetely shipped out and I should have it any day now. I asked for the tracking information and I was told that the person responsible for the tracking number (whatever that means) left early for the day and they would email me a tracking number first thing in the morning. I asked to confirm, "so the package has definetely shipped?", the rep said, "yes, all of these models definetely shipped out last week.". At 12pm their time next day, they did not email me anything so I phoned. After being put on hold for 13 minutes, the rep gave me a tracking number and shipper number for the plasma (I repeated all of the information to the customer service rep to make sure I had it correct). I then phoned the shipping company and they told me they have not received anything under that tracking number, they said it looked like a valid tracking number but they have not received anything under that tracking number. I then phoned Projectorexpo back again, after 17 minutes on hold, I told the rep that I checked with the shipper and they had not received anything under that tracking number. The rep said that the package shipped out on 12/27 and maybe it wasn't updated. I explained that I was told that the package shipped out on 12/20 and this was news to me. She then put me on hold for 5 more minutes, transfered me around and I wound up talking to
another sales rep (same sales rep that I spoke to around the 20th). The rep explains that nothing shipped out until the 27th but I would absolutely receive the plasma by Thursday, January 4th. While the rep was on the phone with me, I called the shipping company and they had no record of anything and said that they've received nothing for that tracking number. The shipper continued to tell me (while half laughing) that this has been an on-going issue with these guys and they have had numerous complaints from people with tracking numbers. I hang up with the shipping company and talk with the Projectorexpo rep... Now the rep promises that although the shipping company has no record of anything, that I will absolutely receive the package by Thurdsay January 4th. He offers to give me their distributors phone number to verify and says that if I don't have it by Thursday, he would take $200 off. I tell the rep that I'll be shocked if they actually get it to me by next Thursday, I'll I've heard are lies. I will bet anything that it doesn't show up by next Thursday and they tell me that I should just cancel my order... How convenient will that be for THEM after I waited 30 days for them.

"This business is Horrible I pomise!! They charged me twice on my credit card for the same TV, then it took them 2 days to agree that they charged me twice and 2 days for them to remove the charge "it has to go through our billing department" then it takes the bank the standard 5-10 days to re-imberse you. Multiple times different operators on the phone lied to me and claimed that the "order had already been shipped," which was a complete lie because 4 days later i received a tracking number via email telling me that it had indeed been shipped that day, standard shipping! I strongly warn anyone thinking about buying from this business to NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, IT IS A HUGE MISTAKE!!!!! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!"

"Horrible experience! Don't buy from these hustlers! They pulled the most underhanded trick by trying to sell me a refurbished notebook PC when the site didn't list anything about the item for sale being refurbished (or what they want to call "reserviced" just to play semantic games). Other sites prominently list their refurbished items as such, but these guys try to get you to believe that you should pay them more $$$ for the real, new item once you've already placed the order for the item. It's "bait & switch" selling at its core, and it should make you run away from their store / site."

"I would like to warn anybody who will think to deal with this store!!! It was catch on a cheap price for Panasonic plasma TV I was trying to buy from them. They have nothing in stock. Store is in NY but they are telling everyone on phone that they are in Seattle.
Mine order was canceled over the phone one week after, when I realized that something is wrong (no tracking number, no records and errors on website). But it was too late.
They charged mine Amex card $3,500 and then I was waiting about one month to get refund for this money back to the card!!!
What a nightmare!!! After one month of fighting and talking to the Amex (creating dispute on charge) I finally got money back. Horrible store and service in this place and mine expertise for this purchase.
