"My first experience wasn't spectacular. There were issues setting up account so I called the help number. The rep tried to work through it with me but it would not work on there end either so they forwarded the info and assured me I would receive a call later. A week and a half went by before I called back.
With this more recent experience I considered a farming campaign. You are required to purchase the list first - still not sure why that's the order - and after paying for the list you can select a campaign. The problem is, the list is based on a circle spanning out from a central address. Now, I don't want to waste postage on 70% of the 669 people on the list who have been living in their home for less than three years because there is no point. But I didn't see a way to adjust the search parameters when selecting a list. I want to have some latitude in how my list is generated instead of paying for every homeowner in a given radius. We have direct mail for that. For a specific campaign an agent wants to fine-tune the list to those people we actually have a shot at, and that is still knowing that 99% of our postcards will hit the wastebasket with the remainder of the junk mail.
So nothing really bad against Prospect Plus, but I can't see using them for anything other than as an alternative to other postcard producers depending on who has a coupon code or special when I want to order something to mail myself."

“Our customer service manager has reached out to you to discuss this matter. WE do not require any customer to purchase or use our mailing list. We sell mailings lists as a convenience to our customers to assist them in making their marketing an easy and seamless process. Our customers certainly have the option of uploading and using their own mailing lists on our website and there is no charge for the mailing list to do so. However, if our customers choose to purchase a mailing list there is an additional charge for that of .07 per record and that does not include a mailing. That charge would be for the mailing list only and if you choose to mail with us there would a charge for the mailing. We do email our customers any mailing list they purchase from us and you do not have to use them to mail with us. We also make them available for download out your account should you wish to mail on your own or use them elsewhere.
Our website is clear that the mailing list is charged separately and if you wish to use that list our customer service team is happy to help you segment it into smaller mailing amount if you wish. As a one-time courtesy, we are refunding your mailing list charge. You have been emailed the list and again we are happy to assist you in segmenting the list into a smaller mailing amount if you wish.
