So much for in stock and ready to ship. It is now thursday 6pm and no reply to my request for information.
Tomorrow I will have the charge removed from my credit card unless I receive proof of shipment.
The order shipped on Friday 3/12/04 and I received e-mail notification. It was received in good condition. I installed the software with no problems."
"Ordered Quicken 2004 and Norton systemworks 2003 - shipped immediately, great price, received in 2 days. Systemworks disk wasn't recognized by Norton - sent email, answered in less than 24 hours as advertised, new disk shipped. Will shop again.

"I ordered a game on 1/14/04 and after not recieving it for 8 days I called into customer support. They informed me that they ran out of this game but they must of forgot to send me an email even though they allready charged my credit card and they would do nothing to settle my anger towards them. It is now 1/30/04 and still no game or word from purplus. I sent an email explaining my problems and asked for a tracking number, they replied saying they will check into my delivery confirmation number and that was it. This has single handely been the worst service I have ever seen from a online purchase."

"Easy people to deal with.
One of the support programs involved in my software order failed to install properly. It seemed to have a scratched CD. I was able to use an evaluation copy to test the main software.
Through no fault of Purplus it turned out the software was not as advertised and I should have browsed the Internet more to find that others have had the same experience.
Purplus responded promptly to my request to return it and since it was Christmas time when I shipped it back it took a while before I received a response that my credit card would be credited.
It cost me only the round trip First Class shipping.
I'll certainly consider them again for a software purchase. They treated me right."
"No problems here. Got Norton System Works 2002 Pro version (which is essentially the same as the 2003 version) for less than $25 shipped. Full retail package arrived as expected, packaged better than it needed to be. "
"I ordered BeOS 5 Pro Edition, and gobe's GoBeProductive 2.0 suite. BeOS 5 came in a paper sleeve with a torn serial number tag clear-taped to the front, but the disc was in excellent condition, and the web site does say "Packaging: New CD only", so it's not that big of a deal. Shipping also took two days longer than expected, but that was more the fault of USPS, as Purplus had it out the door in one day. I would definitely purchase from Purplus again! Highly recommended."
"I was extremely satisfied with the single software purchase I made from Purplus ("Norton Anti-Virus 2002"). Their e-mail communication regarding the status of the order was excellent, and the order was packaged well and was everything that was advertised. Shipping charges, as mentioned by someone before, were not unreasonable ... in fact, it was about what you would expect to pay for Priority Mail via the USPS, so no profit being made there. Considering the price for the software was as low as anywhere I could find, this was an excellent deal! I won't hesitate to take my business back to Purplus when the need arises.

"My experience with this company so far consists of only a single order placed online for one item of software. In every respect I am pleased with their pricing and service. The order was handled very efficiently and the shipping charge was within 5 cents of the actual shipping cost, as indicated by the postage on the shipping box; so, unlike many online retailers, Purplus is not trying to make any profit off the shipping.
There was one mishap in my order, which was in no way the fault of Purplus: The software CD that came in the sealed retail box for my order had a bad scratch that made some of the data on it unreadable. I emailed their customer support about this and they responded the same day with an email informing me that a replacement box of software would be mailed out to me the next day; I've just received it and it's defect-free.
In the future I will certainly make Purplus one of the first sources to check when shopping for software.
