"I've used QES computers for about 6 years now. They originally came to my attention after attempting my 6th "self-built" computer and I had run into a POST problem that neither I nor the motherboard manufacterer could solve.

I called the MB manufacture's US number and they noted the same issues with booting "on several of the motherboards that we have here" (in their shop). They suggested that I try it out of the case "because for some reason we have found that they will boot on the table but not in the case".

I decided that didn't sound like a great idea because I intended to use it inside of the case. I checked out local shops and QES was the only one that charged a FLAT rate for repairs and a guaranteed estimate rather than the typical "$99 an hour, no minimum".

I watched as their tech did everything that I had tried for over an hour, then he tried it out of the case (I hadn't told them about the "suggestion"). It actually booted. He trouble shot and found out the the MB had an unusual design and left off a mounting screw hole. If you weren't aware that this happened and applied insulation on the mounting post it shorted the memory and CPU. They placed an insulator and charged me $20 (this was at least 6 years ago, but they still have the lowest repair prices around).

I have since brought in at least 5 computers from work, several of my own that developed issues that I couldn't fix at home and I have purchased 3 work computers and 2 home systems.

Their repairs are excellent with the bset prices around. The systems are reasonably priced and will outdo any pre-built OEM. Their customer service is amazing.

I would suggest that anyone who lives in the "Tri-Valley" region of the SF Bay area go to QES. You won't be disappointed."
