"Purchased through one of their MANY aliases and had the worst experience I've ever had. Power supply in external SATA enclosure failed, obtained RMA - this company has the most restrictive T&C I've ever seen - and sent unit back. They repaired it, but noted that the new power supply was NOT warranteed. I asked why and the said - without any investigation - that my drives, my four NEW Seagates - caused their power supply to fail. Outrageous! My first purchase from them is my last."
"I did not receive a confirmation email; (how hard is that?) they promise one day turn around; I tried calling - the answering machine says maybe theyll call back maybe they wont! If you try to leave a message - the mailbox is full. Theyre web contact form is broken. it's been a week and still no shipping notice or product. I am thinking a letter to the the AG of Florida maybe in order....
As a note, I did place an order about a year ago with them and everything was cool. I think they are smoking the profits now. Thank god for Newegg"
"Unbelievable, my purchasing department just got off the phone with this vendor. It took him over an hour to order one item. The online order page failed three times and he had to phone the order in. There was only one problem, they do not take phone orders (?). What business today operates in this fashion? None that I know of to-date but this vendor seems to be out of the loop. My purchasing agent called to inform them of the online errors and the vendor requested that the order be placed at an alternate site (CableGear) but guess what, same errors occurred on this site also. My agent called again and the vendor then requested that he send the order by fax with his credit card number. No, that is not the way you make a secure purchase. So now the vendor asked to have the order faxed then call back with the credit card information. Wait, I thought they did not take orders over the phone?
In all this confusion and mayhem, the order finally went through and to summarize, my agent spent over an hour of his time on line and on the phone to purchase $20.00 in parts.
