"Ordered a fan controller and 2 bags of case screws on Oct. 24.
During the checkout process, they clearly state they accept PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Amex. However, I choose to pay by MasterCard, but on the next page, it says they can't accept that card type!
So I go pack and choose to pay with PayPal. Goes through fine. Get a confirm email from PayPal later.
Next, I wait. On Oct 26, the order still hasn't been shipped. I email, receive a response stating that they will process the order during that week.
The week goes by, no shipping update. I call on Nov 1, get a person, he says the payment was never completed. I clearly state what happened during the checkout process, he checks the PayPal records. Next he states the order will ship immediately and I would receive a tracking email within a few hours.
That week goes by, I try to call several times and leave messages. No response.
The next week, I email again. 2 days later, I get a phone call from Quest. They state my order has "slipped through the cracks" and the fan controller is out of stock. He offers to refund me via PayPal, I agree. I get a refund, situation resolved.
The only thing that I have found of my liking is that when you call and do get a person, they know you by name, not by order or account number. They knew my situation off the top of their head just by stating my name. Either I stirred up too much commotion, or there is only one guy running this company.
My suggestion for Quest: Refine your checkout procedure. Get better at answering telephones and responding to questions. Get absolute in-stock information and state on your site. If you do these things, I will be back. "
