"I thought I wrote a review here already but can't find it. It makes me wonder about ResellerRatings a bit. You can't sort by date AFAIK so it's hard to look back. So here I go again. Despite all the negative reviews, I tried Quill because of their low pricing on cardboard boxes, bubble wrap, and the like. With free shipping if you order over $45. it was 25% cheaper (approximately) than a competitor, Uline. I've placed 2 orders in the past month, both for shipping materials ONLY. Other than slightly slow shipping (takes 2-3 days to ship, a few more to arrive via UPS) I had zero problems with Quill. The materials I ordered were well-packed and undamaged upon arrival, the price did not change, and the items were exactly the same quality and material I was paying more for elsewhere. It appears that some people here are having trouble with electronics/technology items ordered from Quill. I am guessing these orders are actually fulfilled by a 3rd party vendor who is dropping the ball in a major way (like an Amazon vendor). Perhaps you should avoid ordering those items at Quill, but for packing/shipping stuff, I recommend them."
"Their sales agents were extremely pushy. I did not like how they were overly pushy on trying to sell me on the $100 plan. While my business partner was telling them that this was expensive and we need to talk about it, they were trying to make us sign up right there. After bringing up reviews online from this site, Yelp, etc. and seeing 1 star reviews everywhere, the sales agents got very very quiet and thanked us for our time and just left our office. This was such a surreal experience that this was a scam and we just avoided being scammed. I would not recommend doing business with this company as their sales agents are extremely pushy and based on the fact that they have a majority of 1 star reviews, I would never do business with them. "

I ordered a printer from Quill (day 1). It took a while but I received a confirmation letter(day 2).
The next day (day 2) I received an "out of stock" email cancelling my printer order. I chatted online and was assured the order was to be shipped that day. To verify, I called and was assured the same; my printer was to be delivered within 5 working days. Meanwhile, my credit card was debited for the amount of the purchase.
Next day (day 3), I received a Quill solicitation selling accessories and supplies for the printer I ordered. Later in day 3, I received another out of stock email cancelling my order. I called and was told that the order would not be shipped and my credit card would not be charged. I emailed a print out of my credit card activity and showing availability of the printer on Staples (parent company). They apologized for not having the item again, and said my funds should be available in 3-5 business days; asking if there was anything else I would like to buy from them."

"Ok when I saw all these negative reviews I was seriously worried! I ordered a printer and they DID say it was out of stock, don't know when it will ship. In fact I got no notification that it shipped but a guy called me this morning for delivery! It arrived in 1 week. AND they even mailed me a box of cookies beforehand (as an apology for being late??). The printer was literally 50% less than Amazon -- an AMAZING deal. I highly recommend Quill based on my own experience but obviously would be nervous about ordering again based on all these negatives."
"What a scam. placed an order for an in stock item. I have received 3 emails with new delivery dates as the item is out of stock. It keeps getting further out yer all other retailers have the item in stock. I should have listened to all the other reviews with the same feedback. "
"If I could give zero stars, I would. I placed an order 5 days ago and have received over 7 emails in the days since the order. Some had my order number, some had other people's order numbers. All of the emails were to change the shipping date (one even said my order would be mailed next day), but then I got a cancellation email. Again, this email had some other order number so I called to confirm.
My order was cancelled. But somehow, I still have a $527 charge on my credit card. AND now the order (which is cancelled) no longer appears in my order history on Quill.com, which is a little unsettling considering I have that charge.
The customer service is horrible. The woman on the phone last night laughed at me, and the man on the online chat today basically could only say, "The order has been cancelled". The woman on the phone last night told me I could call back when the item was in stock again, and they'd honor the price I had paid. The man on the online chat today said they couldn't guarantee the price.
Are you kidding me?
Stay away from this company. What a bunch of scammers. Hopefully I'll actually get my money back."

"Placed the order for laptop, for 4 days I keep getting emails about delay in shipping. In the end they cancelled the order, reason was almost like a joke - We are cancelling orders with item #2720614 (HP Pavilion Desktop) as the offer was "while supplies last" and we no longer have inventory.
When checking their website, they are still selling the laptop ( at higher price). So basically it looks like, they advertise the deal to lure the customer, but dont honor it if its good for the customer.
On top of it, they keep changing the order # like crazy and their online tracking never found my order.
Not sure who runs this store. I dont you can trust these guys. I would stay away."
"I placed an order to buy the printer WF7610 on 09/06. Few days later, I checked with them because the order status had not changed. They said that it was not available in stock so I had to wait. The first delay was the end of September. Alright! I could wait.
After that, I received the emails that the delivery date expected to be on Oct 3rd, then Oct 17th, then Oct 27th, then Nov.... In total, I received at least 6 delay notices!
Is this a joke? I am not even sure if they really sell that product or not.
Finally, out of all frustration, I had to cancel the order today (10/16) and order on Amazon. I should have done it months ago, instead of saving few bucks for this horrible service."
"I order some ink cartridges for my printer. They sent the wrong ones. I paid the invoices right away. They refused to give me a credit or refund. They did not honor my request. Do not buy anything from them. If they are wrong, they will not admit it. Stay away from this company. They were very unfair to my company. I closed my account with them."
"All of the business cards that they made were worthless. They even sent two thousand cards that didn't even have my name on them! I pleaded to have someone from their printing department call me in order to get the job right, but they refused to do so. "After initially ordering my product, I waited 2 weeks without hearing anything or having my order show up on their web page. When I called customer service, I got hold of someone who said I needed to talk to a person in the order department to sort out a problem with my order. I was given a person's full name and telephone number, and even after leaving 2 voicemails for this person, I still didn't get a call back. Nearly 3 weeks after my initial order, someone in their online chat said the original order was probably hung up and created a new order for me. Their system finally showed a shipping and arrival date, but by 3 days after it was supposed to arrive, I had to start calling again. I was told the product was "shipping directly from a partner" so they couldn't provide me with any sort of tracking information. By the 3rd time I talked to someone at Quill, and got this same run-around, a woman from Quill finally called me back and said that the order appeared to have been hung-up in their system again, and she was going to create a new order, though she couldn't expedite it due to the printer "shipping directly from a 3rd party". She said the printer should arrive next Tuesday, and finally it did (over a month after the original order). Employees who simply ignore direct voicemails from customers and having no way to tracking your orders makes for a very shady business model. I would steer clear of Quill.com in the future."
