"The new owner of Ramstore.ca has written me a letter telling me that my credit card information and order has been deleted from their files. It was nice to finally get an e-mail from the company. I hope that the transition goes smoother from this point forward. Good Luck.
It is one thing to say that you posted the information that your store was closed until further notice and it is another to actually do it. I had a friend check the web site for the product I wanted before I ordered it and neither one of us saw any notification that the store was closed neither was there any information given to me about the store closure when I placed my order. The site was not marked closed until after you placed your very rude comments about my rant. Please do not try to make yourselves look better by trying to make me look stupid it is very bad business and had you actually responded to any of my messages I would not have gone public with my complaints. The moral of this rant is: take responsibility for your mistakes instead of trying to pass it along to others."

update Aug 21/05, in response to Ramstore.ca's reply dated 8/18/05:
At the time I ordered, there was NO mention on their website of suspension of online activities. My order date was May 17. This was two weeks prior to the alleged June posting on their website.
Regardless, they accepted payment, did not deliver the product, and did not respond to any one of numerous emails. Then they suddenly appear 3 months later, publicly stating in a rather obnoxious post, that the "ranting" customer cannot read and is at fault.
This is NO way to conduct business.
With many reputable online vendors available, I continue to advise consumers to avoid doing business with Ramstore.ca.

I had no trouble ordering, and recieved my order promptly after placing my order with them.

"I placed an order for an item that Ramstore stated was in stock; it took 2 weeks for me to receive the order. The order was in transit for 1 day.
Of course, my credit card was billed the day I placed the order and I was informed that my order would ship that day, or the next.
I sent a few emails that did not garner a respose. Finally, I sent an email saying that I was reversing the charges with my credit card company if they did not contact me within 24 hours. My order was shipped within hours of the receiving my 'last straw' email and I received a response email stating that they had been having server problems, which I believe was just BS. Interesting how their sales site and puchasing system was still fully operable, and how they never thought to contact me by phone if their servers were down...
The product was as advertised, so I didn't get ripped off, however, I wouldn't rate my experience with Ramstore any more than 1 out of 5 stars."
"Placed an order (Zalman vga cooler + fan) on march 20/05; items were in stock but still have not shipped as of march 28/05. Multiple emails were sent to company but no reply! This is unacceptable. I can understand if delays happen but to ignore emails from customers is inconsiderate and very frustrating. So i have no idea what is going on. Going to wait for a few more days and then cancel the order.
Update: I finally got an email explaining that their emails servers were down. For some reason they had trouble processing my credit card. Its impossible to get an email response from them. I ended up cancelling my order and buying from another company."
