Ordered item and payed months ago. Not shipped. No one responds. Can’t get a refund.

"Ordered a cable. They have had my money since August 4, 2023. It is now Oct 23, 2023. I have not received a notification that item has shipped. I have requested a refund three times now. Not once have I received a response. I feel like I’ve been scammed. "

Called ***-***-**** and got rude sarcastic guy

"I called to find out if one of the 100 gal tanks was BPA free because there are ONLY measurements in the description. The guy didn't know what BPA free was and was rude and sarcastic. I was planning on spending over $700. No way in the world I would purchase anything from this place. DONT SUPPORT BUSINESSES THAT TREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE CRAP. I asked one question and he talked to me like I was bothering him. Disgusting customer service. "

Bounced check

"February 2020 I ordered RV Cushions. Then CoVid19 happened, May I was told they would ship and I would get a tracking number, June I asked for a tracking number or refund. They told me Discover would not accept a credit [untrue] sent me a check, that bounced. Dont use them."

Found our Black Water Holding Tank!!!

"I searched and searched for a right hand drain holding tank for our trailer and finally found the perfect one at Surplus online. It was a reasonable price and we received it quickly with ground shipping. I read some negative reviews and was weary at first. I am glad that I took the chance because it was just as described. We have a 2003 Cabana 18 ft trailer and had to replace the holding tank. I emailed the company after I purchased the item because and requested a tracking number. They got back to me within the next business day with a tracking number. THANK YOU!!! Great customer service and quick shipping. "

Good Experience For Me !

"Well, I would like to say that doing business with RV and Van Surplus was a good experience for me. I ordered complete dinette cushion covers as well as gaucho covers in the fabrics of my choice thanks to the swatches I requested and received quickly. The work was completed to my specifications and were shipped out to me in California ahead of estimated arrival time. I also purchased extra fabric to complete the project. They went above and beyond to satisfy my purchase and offered great customer service, I dealt with Mark on my orders."

Worst Company ever!

"Disgraceful company. Bunch of yokels trying to comport themselves as a business. Still waiting for a part for my RV. It is a miracle they are in business the way they choose to do business. Lies and horrible customer service. They do answer the phone which is laughable, considering they don't ship their products, but do offer ridiculous excuses for why the part was not sent yet. I will contact the Indiana better business bureau. They are a disgrace! Do not use them. You have been warned."

Don't buy from this company!!!

"I ordered a grab handle for our Motor Home and had it customized. They told me that it would take two weeks to get here. No tracking # so I called them on the 3rd week after ordering, Bob told me that he was checking his delivery today and it should be in there. He would call me back...yeah right. So another week goes by and my husband calls with attitude and he told him the same story, I will call you back. Never received a phone call back.. This guy "BOB" has NO business skills what so ever. I ordered the handle on August 8th and now it is October 2nd still no handle nor a refund which was asked for. So now we are forced to go to our credit card fraud department to get our money back from these crooks. I will also be sending a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. "

Avoid these people at all costs

"I placed an order with RV and Van Surplus for a stainless sink, range hood and some table legs on Dec 18, 2015. I promptly received an email thanking me for my order and that my items would be shipped out within 5-7 business days and that I would receive an email with tracking information at that time.

I waited until after the holidays to follow up thinking that there may have been a delay in getting everything our due to Christmas, New Years etc... I called on 4 Jan, 2016 and was told by Bob that was the case and they expected to get my order our the door in the next few days. They were just waiting for the sink to come from their supplier--which they expected in later that week.

I called again on Friday the 8th and was told they were still waiting for the sink from their supplier. It should be any day now.

I called again the following week and was told Bob was in a meeting and he would call me right back. No call back. I was able to get a hold of Bob a day or two later and was told that the sink was in a shipment from China and waiting in customs--it should be cleared any day now. Fast forward to the 8th of February, still no tracking number, still no call back or email with information. I called Bob and asked him the status of my order. I was told it was they were still waiting on the sink to come in from customs. I asked if he had the other items in stock and maybe he could just ship those to me: Nope, nothing in stock. I asked him to cancel my order and he said no problem he would cancel it and take care of it.

Now we're into March and no refund. They have not responded to emails or phone calls regarding the issue. I have taking up a dispute with my credit card company to reverse the charges.

This has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a company. I own a small company so I understand the importance of customer service and delivering on your promise. RV and Van Surplus fails on both accounts.

There are plenty of other vendors out there that deliver what they say they can and will be able to meet or beat their prices.

Avoid this company and save yourself the aggravation.

"After 3 weeks of placing the order I contacted them for a shipping date, told it would be the following Mon or Tues. After two weeks go by I send an email asking for the tracking #, nothing. I call another week later and get the run around and no call back. I end up finally filing a complaint with the Indiana BBB. This is a horrible business, the worst customer service and communication. In the same amount of time I was able to have custom benches made to order for my MH that were trucked from the West coast to the East Coast by a reputable dealer. I wish I would have seen this review site before ordering. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY."

"The most aggravating experience ever ordering online. I will always check reviews online from now on. Almost every persons horrible experience mirrors the one we've had.
Ordered and paid July 30, 2014. Two week delivery promise. Multiple calls to company with the apology and promise of checking in on it with a prompt return call. Nothing. More calls to them, now attitude...."it'll be there when it gets there..."
Call in to speak to management and find out the same "yahoo" who has been feeding me false statements is the supposed president of this company.
He angrily tells me he's canceling the order and a refund will be issued. As all the reviews have shown in others experience, there more than likely will be no refund. Going to contact the credit card company and have the fraud department take over.
This is hands down the worst online and personal contact by phone situation I've ever had the unfortunate experience with. Not one time through this have they showed any form of good business tactics, customer service or general decency.
Choosing to do business here is probably the most hap hazard move you can make. Do yourself a favor and completely bypass this migraine experience.

"I wish Id found these reviews before I ordered! It is eery how similar these experiences sound to my own.
I ordered custom RV cushions at the end of April and was billed immediately for them. The lead time listed on their website to make the cushions was 10-15 DAYS. After 8 WEEKS , I called to inquire about my order and spoke with Bob. Bob told me foam was on back order and they thought they'd get it in on Thursday, June 12, which was just going to be another two (or so) days. He said the cushions would ship on Friday. I thought that was fantastic that they must have had the covers sewn and literally just needed the foam. They'd be able to ship the very next day! I called last week for an update when I still had no tracking number or cushions and had to leave a message for Bob because "he was out picking up parts." I did not get a call back. I tried calling again but the business was closed (no recorded message to state business hours or the chance to leave a message. I finally got a hold of Bob again today, June 18, and he said the guy he needs to talk to about the cushions "was out picking up parts and he'd call me back." I did not get a call back that same day so I called the next day. I was told Bob would have to call me back and I said to the same female that has answered all my other calls that I keep getting told I'll get a call, never to get a call back. I keep getting different excuses and I simply wanted to know if my item was actually going to ship. She had me to hold and Bob picked up. I explained this to him as well, said I'd read bad reviews all over the internet about him, etc. Bob knew that his grade with the BBB is an "F" and he told me many of the claims against him were bogus. In fact, he said the guy running Ripoff Report has been accused of extortion. He encouraged me to read the article. Bob also said my cushions have taken this long because someone accidentally ordered 4" foam instead of 5". The story has gone from the foam was back ordered to the wrong foam was ordered. Who knows what the real reason is. I told him I'm not really interested in his past or other reviews. The bottom line is that I want this item still (or my money if it's not going to ship out in the near future). Bob promised me that I'd have a tracking number by the evening of June 23. He said he'd make sure my order had the utmost attention and that I had his word on this. It's 3:22 PM and still no tracking number has been emailed. I'll give him a few more hours until close of business to see if one is sent to me. Customer service doesn't exist at this place. There has never been an email, phone call or any correspondence to let me know they were experiencing a delay. Or, any correspondence back when I've left a message for Bob with the receptionist. There is absolute no concern for the customer. At this point, Bob could have asked if I would like to upgrade or change my foam ordered to avoid further delays, etc. I will never do business with this company again. Who knows if I will ever get the cushions I ordered?! I will not stop though until I get a refund if that happens. The excuses and/or lies are never-ending and there is no level of customer care. AWFUL.

---Update on 7/1/14: I have finally received the item that I ordered and the quality is great. If the customer service went along with it, I would highly recommend this company.
