Best little dual-band analog and digital DMR radio money can buy

"I'm new to DMR but in my opinion, this radio gives you a lot of band for the buck. Yes, DMR is complicated to the newbie. Yes, the programming of the radio takes a little time to get used to. But this is true of learning to walk. More and more exposure to the GD-77 and amateurs who have experience with it eases you into its operation and enjoyability.

Mine arrived with a defective charger, but an email to support saw my new charger arrive within three days. I'd recommend this radio to other amateurs on a cost basis alone; analog, digital, dual-band all rolled into one for the price of dinner with the Mrs..

Pormpt action for a defective HT (GD-77)

"I bought a two pack of GD-77 HTs in October. One worked quickly right out of the box, but I had problems with the other one. I thought I was improperly setting up my codeplug but after working on it for weeks (literally) it turned out I had a defective unit. I contacted Customer Support and their rep Alisa was of great help in getting my unit replaced. I received it yesterday and after upgrading the firmware to the latest stable release I loaded a known-good codeplug and tested it today. I'm happy to say it worked first time pressing the PTT.
Overall I'm very satisfied with the rigs, and especially with my CSR Alisa. She was very professional answering my request and in replacing the defective unit.

GD-77 A GREAT RADIO AT A GREAT PRICE

"recent firmware and software updates have enhanced the features available in this radio and it clear that the manufacturer is listening to its customers. Expect further enhancements in future.
This radio is becoming popular in the DMR scene in New Zealand after some of the early wrinkles were sorted. It represents great value for money and would be a great starter radio for any aspiring amateur radio.
I spend quite a time in the bush in the South Island of NZ and am looking forward to see how this radio stands up to harsh physical conditions as well as some radio communications challenges. Had a query about the CPS and this was answered within 15 minutes. Very good service.

Good service at rock-bottom prices

"My radio came in about the time I expected, as ordered, free shipping (to Canada!). A problem developed after a couple of months and Radioddity conversed efficiently by e-mail. There was a bit of back-and-forth to figure out what to do; I ended up having to suggest a suitable replacement part, but once they agreed to send it, it came in a month, which I think is fair for a free-shipping bottom-priced overseas seller. They are certainly a seller I'd use again."

I ordered an two way radio upgrade.

"I ordered an two way radio upgrade and they were prompt on sending the software via email, but the problem is: I have to send the back a CPU ID # and then they will send me a Code so I can finish the upgrade.
Over 52 hrs and still nothing. No reply to another email I sent and no reply to a Facebook message I sent.
So now I own a two way radio that can only be used as a paper weight until the send me the code I need to finish up the upgrade.

Up-Date 05-19-17 : I error-ed on the Invoice # and purchase date I placed on this entry and have now up-dated it.
I have received a reply back from Radioddity today, after posting this review.
They stated they had no record of my order.
I sent them my order # and also a screen shot of the order confirmation.
Now back to the waiting.

Up-Date 05-26-17: Issue resolved. Thank You ResellerRatings.com for your assistance.
This customer of Raddioddity will think long and hard before he purchases from them again.
