"What I love about Raise is the variety of gift cards available and the ease of use when you get a gift card either as a voucher or on line card. So far great experience since becoming a member last year (2016).
I just want to suggest working with PayPal for ease of payment. I used PayPal before with Raise and somehow, although the transaction went through, I had an issue with PayPal and had to correspond with PayPal a number of times before it got resolved. I was told that Raise did not process my transaction properlly so they put a hold on my PayPal account and was unable to use it because of that. Perhaps other people may have had a similar experience so please check how Raise is set up to use PayPal. Thanks. "
"I purchased a gift card back in December. I used a portion of it and when I finally was able to use the rest of it, I was told there was nothing on my card. I was very upset at the thought, I know i had a lot of money left on there. I was skeptical to call Raise for i could not find my receipt and they wouldn't believe me because it had been awhile since i purchased it. I called and got the BEST experience!! Let her know how much was purchased for and what i 'thought' i used. No questions ask, she refunded me the difference back!! I love Raise even more now for making that a very pleasant experience! "
"I attempted to pay via PayPal however PayPal was rejecting Raise as a valid merchant within their system. I called Raise customer service & they told me I had to create an account w/ Raise prior to using my paypal acct. I followed those directions & PayPal still rejected Raise. I just ended up using my credit card to pay, received an order confirmation, followed shortly thereafter with an order cancellation.
Once again, I called Raise & they transferred me to their billing dept. which said they needed to ask me a series of questions from public record to confirm the transaction. Really? I laughed and said this sounds like a scam & I'll pass.
Save yourself time and look elsewhere for discounts or pay regular price."

"I recently bought 2 gift cards . One from iTunes and another from Texas roadhouse. Both gift cards did not work. What a scam. Be aware!! Never buy anything from then. Make sure u bring money to the restaurant if u intend to use their gift card. I bought 2 so far and both didn't work. And they have the audacity to tell me it rarely happens and i bought 2 and they both didn't work. Scam!!"
"Raise.com is a SCAM. If you want to go through the embarrassment of getting your card declided a store or a restaurant then use Raise.com. Most of there cards have a zero balance and they always blame the seller. It's never Raise.com fault. Don't waste your time and money. Stay away from Raise.com "

You can even buy them when you are in the store right before you pay for your items while waiting in the checkout line, by having the gift card instantly delivered right to the app on your smartphone, or you can have them sent to you by traditional email or US Postal Service."

"I've recently sold a couple of gift cards on Raise.com. The first gift card I sold didn't had any issues and I was paid promptly. After selling a couple more gift cards on raise and on the date I was suppose to be paid they closed my account because of some verification problem and took my money without paying me. They did not have any verification issue the first time I sold the gift card and then they scammed me out of my money for the gift cards I sold and I try emailing them but they never respond. This company is a scam and they lure you into selling gift cards and then take your money and close your account. I would be filing complaints against this company and move against this company legally. They need to shut down and not cheat anyone. BEWARE OF SELLING GIFT CARDS! THEY SCAM SELLERS!!!"
"I have been a raise customer for about a year now. Like any people, I was worried about buying gift cards online for reasons like gift card balance not matching what I bought, the gift cards being invalid or gift cards being fraudulent.
It was all good until two weeks ago I bought some Victoria Secret Gift Cards from them. On Feb 10, I used them at Victoria Secret online to buy somethings. A few hours later, I get a call from Victoria Secret stating that the gift cards (multiple cards) were originally purchased using stolen credit card information and they (Victoria Secret) could not accept them. I call Raise to tell them of this information and to ask for a refund for the fraudulent cards.
Feb 16, I got an email from Raise asking for additional information I previously had given over the phone again. Frustrating but I gave it again none the less. Now I am in a cycle between Raise and Victoria Secret to try to get this resolved. I am hoping this gets resolved quickly but from what I have read on this site, it maybe a long wait.

Raise refunded me the gift cards that were found to be originally purchased fraudulently. The process was nerve racking but I am glad things were resolved. Only suggestion is a faster process and more updates along the way if possible."
"Bought $40 1800Baskets gift card. Was only ringing up as $20. After 2 days (and pinging them on Twitter) support finally got back to me and instead of helping me interrogated me. Finally a day after that I got my refund authorized. Unfortunately there wasn't enough time to get a new gift card and order for Valentine's day so my excellent deal turned into paying full retail thanks to Raise. This was my second purchase from Raise. The first went very well. This one has likely lost me as a customer."
