"I submitted a $50 rebate for an X2gen monitor that I purchased at ecost, back in March. According to escost customer service this site is actually run by X2gen.

They have no record of my rebate (probably lost it), and have told me that it will probably be denied if I resubmit, even though the original submission was mailed way before the deadline.

Thanks to their incompetence, I paid nearly twice as much for this monitor."
