"I have used other chip/phone rental services while traveling in Frace, and by far this is the best service I have ever used. When you try to place restaruant reservations in France it is common to reach an answering machine to leave a call back number. Having a local phone number is absolutely necessary in these situations. Coverage, usig the Orange cell network, was great even in fairly remote parts of the country. I am planning to use them again this fall in Italy and France."
"Somewhat disappointing overall. I used it a few times actually. In some countries, I didn't have any major problems. In China, it wouldn't work initially. It took me a couple of emails and phone calls to RebelFone, but they made it work after a couple of days.
You need to read their pricing information very carefully. It is actually quite expensive in Europe and other places. Also, my impression was that I did not use as many minutes, as I was charged for.
Last time, when I mailed the SIM card back to them, they said they didn't have it and threatened to charge me for it. After a few emails back and forth they did find it.
Overall, not really bad, but not a good deal and doesn't always work."

"After spending some time trying to figure out which place would be best to rent a SIM card from for international travel, I settled on RebelFone as the best option. Boy am I glad I did too. I used a total of about 30 minutes of talk time while in Ireland for a 2-week trip, and the whole thing was a fantastic experience. I had a good signal wherever I went throughout both the Republic of Ireland and the UK, and the prices were quick simply fantastic. My only complaint is that they sent me two bills, one for the SIM rental and the other for the minutes usage; combining these two bills in to one would have been better, but it's not really a big deal or even close to a deal breaker.
Shipping was a breeze, and the SIM card came in a nice little package with a booklet and easy to read instructions. All the proper codes and passwords were included, and setting it up in my GSM Nokia phone was a breeze. Customer service was very friendly and helpful when I had to call. I will DEFINITELY use RebelFone again on my next international trip!"
