"It was very hard finding this part. Magma was out of stock and had it back ordered. I signed up for an
"in-stock" email notification from recreation ID and with in a couple of weeks they sent me an in stock email. I ordered right away and I received it in three days I believe. Very fast shipping. Overall a great experience with Recreation ID.

"Easy ordering merchandise that was in short supply other places but also at a lower price than the places that were "out of stock". Check out was simple and felt secure. Merchandise arrived with in it's expected delivery date and was as described, new and in the box. I'm gonna look for some insulated boots next. "

"I ordered a rifle case and some magazines for my first order from Recreation ID. The bag shipped the next day and was delivered two days later. The was an inventory shortage on the magazines, but RecID helped get that squared away as well. Will definitely shop here again – keep up the great work!"

Impala Skates during a pandemic?! Yup

"I was in need of a certain pair of skates and decided to try them when I saw they had some pears in stock thinking I probably won’t get this but much to my surprise they got to my house in less than two days. "I was a little hesitant to buy from this website, but honestly RecreationID had the most reasonable price compared to other toy websites I was looking at. "Ordered a wheel 6 weeks atleast said it was shipped to their wearhouse n have it in few days never came now saying they can’t find it do we want to cancel was my husbands bday gift now I canceled called to report cancellation n want my refund they said they contacted Payment department n no refund still !!! Don't trust their "in-stock" status

"In search of an item that is out of stock everywhere else, I discovered this website. They claim to have several hundred in stock, but then, after placing my order, I get an email saying that they are waiting to hear from the manufacturer. So apparently they are not actually stocking the items themselves, they are just drop shipping from the manufacturer.

Thing is, before ending up at their website, I had contacted the manufacturer myself to see when they'd have the item back in stock. They said "June" (I'm writing this in March). So I already know that the manufacturer doesn't have it in stock, why is recreationid reporting that they have 295 of them?

Worth noting that they are still as of this moment of me typing this, STILL showing that they have the item in stock.

Is this place a scam? Or just a poorly run virtual business (with overseas customer support)? I'm still waiting for them to get back to me on whether they magically found the item to ship to me.

This is my first order with this company, and maybe I'm just havnig bad luck. Given the current zombie apocalypse, I totally understand delays and such. But what I can't stand is them outright lying about having stock of something.
