"I bought one about 10 years ago. If you take your time, follow the directions, it is easy to assemble. I've never had to deal with Customer Service, so I can't be negative about them. I've only used the trailer about 10 times since I've had it. But it has alwzys handled real nice on the road. I thnk I've gotten my money's worth and then some."
"As with others, I ordered and nothing came for a long time. Complaint did promptly cause trailer to appear. Instructions with it were poorly and impossibly translated Chinese. Finally found instructions on web site. The problem was most of the parts were missing the ID labels. A real erector set problem. After the first year it was a rusted wreck. I have used it for about 8 years a couple times a year. A couple years ago I attack all the rust and painted with rustoleum. Had to put wood over wires that kept pulling out in weeds on farm. Today two tires shredded. I unhitched it from car and tongue frame twisted 90 degrees and jack and tongue were on the ground twisted. Got it rolling and got it home. Noticed that tongue was bowed with 500 lb mower on it. A look under trailer showed main tongue beam ready to split in half. Trailer is now not safe and will go to junk yard. One more thing, by the time you buy the trailer and two sheets of green treated plywood you save nothing over store bought trailers. The one good thing about the trailer was that it was light weight and easy to push around to where we stored it. Don't buy this junk."
"Red Trailers has never even heard of the phrase "Customer Service" rude Rude RUDE!!!!! i asked where my package was after waiting for SIX DAYS and they said it would arrive in a few MORE days. I asked for a tracking number for my package and they refused to provide me with one. Package took a total of 2 weeks to arrive. I will NOT be coming back here. "
"Terrible company to deal with, they lie to you and take your money and do not deliver, paid for 2 day shipping and got my parcel 4 days later with 70% of items missing, they then tell me i would have the missing parts the next day and guess what, nothing comes, do not buy from these people they are scammers!!!! Buyer Beware!!!"
"Ordered three parts from red trailers using their online site. My credit card was billed that day, after five days still no email with tracking Number information. Contacted customer service, gentlemen on phone was very rude and disrespectful, was told they did not have all the parts in stock and should be sending them out the following day. Still no email with tracking number at this time. Contacted customer service again, unable to provide a tracking number to me, but insured me the order would be arriving in three days. After waiting five days from speaking to them, attempted to contact customer service again, unable to get a hold of anyone on the phone. Do not waste your time and money dealing with Red Trailers. Very poor customer service and follow up."
"I purchased a small utility trailer from RedTrailers.com and the first thing that happened was they stated the trailers were temporarily out of stock but would be back in stock in a month. This was in April 2014 and it is now October 2014 and I have not heard a word from them. I have sent several emails requesting information and I get a one line response each time. The last one, in August stated the trailers were delivered to the warehouse on September 2 and that I would be contacted when it is ready to ship. A full 6 weeks later I have still had no word. This company does not know how to run a business. Had I been stupid, I would have paid in advance for this trailer hoping that it would be shipped within the month. They sent me an invoice and I told them I would be happy to pay a deposit, and then payment in full whenever the trailer is back in stock. This is the way a reputable company does business. The entire summer has flown without the trailer I needed, and so I will cancel my order and never do business with them again. It is a pure shame that Thule and Easyline has chosen to be affiliated with REDTRAILERS.com Their reputation will certainly suffer now. I would not recommend to anyone to do business with a company that baits and switches, or misrepresents their products, and to me this is what red trailer has done. Their customer service is abysmal! STAY AWAY FROM THEM IF YOU CARE ABOUT HONESTY and Customer service. "
"What a great place to find trailer parts."
"I placed an order for 2 bearing kits for my utility trailer. RedTrailers.com had the items I needed at a good price. My order was processed and shipped promptly. Upon receiving my order, I discovered that one of the kits was missing a bearing. I immediately emailed the company to inform them of the missing part and asked if they could send a replacement.
The next morning, I received an email apologizing for the missing item and was told that they would ship it out that same day. A week later, I had not received the missing item so I sent a follow-up email requesting information on the shipment. I received no response. I sent a second follow-up email inquiring about the part and, again received no response. about a week later I called their customer service number hoping to speak with someone about my order. There was no answer so I left a voicemail with all of my information and requested that someone call me. I never received a response.
It would seem that this seller is no longer operating a functional business (or has no intention of providing customer service) and I would encourage others to make their purchases elsewhere. I plan to dispute the charge for this order with my credit card company."
