"I gambled on these PLM Muffler delete pipes because they were relatively inexpensive and I figured if they didn’t work out, I was only out a couple hundred bucks. Boy, was I surprised! The installation was uber simple and took less than 15 minutes all told. These pipes went on an ‘18 Infiniti Q50, so the muffler assembly removal was a breeze and the hanger brackets were very clean and free of debris, so the factory exhaust hangers slid right out. The pipes arrived splendidly packaged and were in perfect condition inside, with expanded foam protecting them in shipping. The sound from these pipes under hard acceleration is unbelievable! I had no idea the 3.0tt made such a wicked, exotic sound. At idle, it has a noticeable “grumble” it lacked with the factory setup. It’s at its loudest at about 3,200 rpm under heavy acceleration. It does not drone or resonate in the cab at any other rpm. In 5th, 6th, and 7th gears, whether cruising or under load, it does not drone whatsoever in the cab. The factory exhaust is a lot like the Spanx undergarment for women; It really masks what’s going on behind the scenes "
