Solar Flame lights do not work

"I had purchased 8 solar flame lights as a backup to existing lights around my house. I needed to replace a few that had depleted their battery life and found that my backup lights did not charge after four days. The company is not at Newegg.com any longer so I have to eat my losses. $40 is not a big deal but is frustrating."

Deffective Razer Blade Pro for 2200$

"Bought it on Newegg (by the seller Refurb4less) few months ago, they claimed 180 day of warranty. The notebook died 90 days after. Tried to contact them, with no success. Contacted Newegg where they said that the warranty was only 90 days... . Then I Contacted Razer for repairing the laptop. They said that it will be 2050$ for the repairs. This is the end of the story so far..."

They do not respond to your request

"****JUNK COMPUTER AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE**** I purchased a desk top pc through overstock.com from refurb4less and I reached out to them multiple times with no response and I have had nothing but problems with the pc from day one. Now 10 days later the pc is boxed back up and sitting in my closet and I am now using my old computer. I now Have a useless computer, I guess I might make a you tube video and take a sledge hammer to the machine. That might be a little fun any way. No Communication After Defective Product Sale

"I purchased a refurbished TV from REFURBFORLESS, part of Ecomm, as a Christmas gift. Within 2 weeks after being turned on, the TV failed - the display became erratic.

Contacting both REFURBFORLESS and Ecom was fruitless. Neither responded and both eBay and PayPal were no help.

Stay away from both of these companies.

My Worst Online Purchasing Experience Ever

"Overstock.com should seriously consider removing Refurb4less.com as a marketplace reseller. I've had the laptop less about 2 weeks and this is the worst online purchase I have ever made, and we shop online constantly. The price was decent and the laptop arrived intact. However, it took them more than a week before it even shipped out. I ordered on 12/8 and it arrived 12/19. When I started it, the fan was really loud and rattling and obviously needed replacing. Since it was shot , I figured it was easier to replace than ship it back for repairs. But to be refurbished, that seems like the easiest and most obvious thing for them to have done it. Just imagine if I didn't feel comfortable fixing it myself; another month of shipping it around?

But that was only the beginning. The unit was acting glitching from the start, with apps not opening, though they showed up in Task Manager. One time, I had 15 Chrome windows running in TM, though nothing was showing on the screen. I initially attributed it to the fan not working, but it continued after I replaced the fan.

A Windows update kept trying to complete, but whenever we restarted after the supposed update, it would say, "Update failed, restoring previous version". Finally, it did that and it it wouldn't reboot, it just kept restarting. I tried everything I knew, to no avail.

Finally, I called the "warranty" number that came with it. Found out that the number was a SHAM. After it rang 20 times (yes, I counted the second time) on a Friday afternoon, a machine came on with the option to leave a message. The 2nd time, I selected the company directory and the machine said the directory was empty. Needless to say, I received no callback from said company.

I paid a local repair shop $75 because, he told me, the image was corrupted and the laptop had to be reimaged. So altogether I paid and additional $85 and many hours trying to get a laptop working properly that was supposed to be a manufacturer approved refurbish job. Please, stay away from Refurb4less.com.

Beware of "NEW" products on their website

"My issue is that I called and emailed Refurb4Less before purchasing this product to guarantee that I was recieving a "new" product (as it says in the discription) and not a refurbished or open boxed item. The larger box that the laptop and all of its contents came in seemed to have been opened and retaped shut, but that may have been a quality control issue to make sure all the contents where there. The smaller box encasing the laptop itself, inside that larger box, was still sealed in selophane, however the selophane was worn quite a bit (maybe poor sealing of computer by HP???) Eitherway, I am assuming the product came 100% new and never used. But the issue is that when I turned on the computer, first I got a weird error message, then when I finally was able to get the thing running and starting up as a new computer should, I checked HP Assist application for updates and other information about the product. I purchased this product from Refurb4Less on May 2nd 2017 and according to HP, the product was officially purchased and the warranty started on January 16th of 2017. Usually HP gives a 12 month manufacture warranty with their devices, and this one came to me with only 8 of those months left. First I contacted HP, and they said they would gladly fix the issue if I sent them the reciept. I sent them the confirmation email of the purchase, and the responce from HP was "this information will not suffice for us reseting the warranty. Can you send us an invoice including more specific information about the product with its serial number etc..." I found the invoice on Refurb4Less's website, and it doesn't contain all the information HP wants. I sent it anyways, with no hope of good news. Then I called Refurb4Less customer support where I was told that the manufacture warranty started the day they bought the product from HP as they are not an official retailer (such as Best Buy, Target... etc)...

So WARNING when buying any "NEW" product from Refurb4Less. I believe they do sell "NEW" never used products, however because of how they obtain and sell their products, youprobably will not see the full manufacturer's warranty on said item.

I would return this laptop, for the above reson, however it is a great price. It is being sold for even less than refurbished versions of this laptop that I have found elsewhere online. I just wish that Refurb4Less would put a disclaimer on their website that is somewhere easy to find, and seen by all people looking at buying "NEW" products from them that says something like, "Items marked as NEW may have shortened warranty dates, because the warranty started when WE purchased the products for resale"

Substandard Electronics... Terrible customer service

"I would give less stars if possible. I purchased a 43 inch monitor on ebay that appeared to be a good deal. The monitor arrived damaged. I contacted customer service to try to get it returned and replaced. I was told that I could return it but was responsible for paying the shipping cost. $98 by UPS for an item that cost me $149 with free shipping. The customer service person was adamant that this was the only solution and that I was on my own to solve it .
Save your money. Refurbished means " Substandard Junk " .

I will never purchase refurbished again.
