"Very poor customer service. In the end I got my refunds for two orders that never shipped after three months, but I waited almost two months just to get a response and refund. All told, my money was tied up for over 5 months before resolution, and I would definitely not recommend Renchi to others."

"I ordered my new ceramic white PSP on Monday night - payment was easy and straightforward, especially as I had the option to pay via PayPal - and the price was the lowest I could find after some exhaustive searching.
On tuesday evening, I received an email to tell me the item was on the way, and by Wednesday morning, I could see that the package was already in the UK and at the DHL depot. By 13:00, it was out for delivery!
Unfortunately, DHL failed to deliver by the estimated 5PM. It was back out for delivery by 8AM today, but delivery was attempted about twenty minutes before a family member could get back from a hospital visit. My bad luck of course, and nothing that RenChi can do about that...
I have requested that DHL now deliver to my work address, and I can't wait to get my hands on it.
Of course, until then, I can only comment on the speed of RenChi's service. About this I couldn't be happier - they have helped me to rekindle a little faith in online shopping.

UPDATE:
Following a mix-up or two with DHL (nothing serious, and nobody's fault), I finally have my hands on my brand new PSP. Even with a slight delay on this side of the water, the delivery was very quick.

"I ordered a PS3 from Renchi on the 20th of this month. The payment went through ... the order has been showing as processign ever since, even though a tracking number has about on my account, no ship out date has been given.
Also, the tracking number does not seem to work.
Every time I send them a message, either by regular email, or using their site's Contact system, it gets returned as undelivered.
I think I 've lost my money :("
"I ordered two Hori DS Lite cases from RenChi (after browsing lik-sang, play-asia and similar competitors for similar products) around 6pm on the 24th.
Living in California, shipping for the two was high enough that I just went for the express courier. After some shenanigans with my bank blocking the credit card transaction for coming unannounced from Hong Kong, I went for PayPal and it went through immediately. RenChi processed the order and shipped on the 25th via FedEx International Priority, and it arrived at my door at 9am on the 26th. About 40 hours, from clicking on 'pay' to signing for the box. I still don't know how they managed that with customs and all, but suffice to say I'm extremely pleased with the overall experience, and especially pleased with the speed."

"I purchased a wireless contoller from Renchi. I recieved it fairly quickly; but when I opened the box I found out the controller was different than the one described on the website. I ordered a 2.4 Ghz wireless controller, and recieved the 900 Mhz version. I emailed Renchi and explained the situation. I got a response from the Managing Director who explained he was "on the road" at the time and would immediately look into the issue when he got back. I never got another response from Renchi and was stuck with the controller I could have got cheaper from a different merchant. Needless to say, I was not impressed by Renchi's "customer service"."
