"I ordered two items - this frame and a glass shelf. They were priced great, shipped at a low price and came on time.
Unfortunately, I realized I ordered the incorrect items (needed freezer shelf and ordered refrigerator deli shelf instead). I am glad that RepairClinic has a generous 365-days return policy, however, in practical terms, it wasn't of help to me. The return shipping cost for the large box would be more than the price of the items themselves (from California to Michigan, via USPS) so now I am stuck with these items.
So, unless you live in or around Michigan or your packing is a small one (ideally fitting in a USPS flat rate box), you better be sure you are ordering the right part. Otherwise, you are stuck with it. Or if you are risk-averse, you are better off ordering from your local parts store even if slightly more expensive.
That said, I ended up ordering the right part again and it arrived on time as expected. It seems to be OEM (has the manufacturer's log) and works great."
"I placed an order for a furnace flame sensor on Saturday evening. Then called the following day, Sunday, about noon and requested order cancellation. I was told that my request was placed in some kind of lineup and I would receive a message, no matter if my request was successful or not. I did not receive such message, just 24 hours later I received a notification that my order was shipped! My order never appeared on my account page, so the tab Manage your order was useless, so was the tab Track your order. Then, when I called and enquired about return, the representative just hung up on me!"
"I ordered a part that was not needed and never unboxed. I returned the item per their policy and now they will not refund the money claiming it appears the part was attempted to be installed. NOT TRUE AS IT NEVER LEFT THE BOX. They either sent me a used part or this is a scam. In any case, they now have my $100 and the part. "
"My experience is like so many others I've read about. I ordered a part for my dishwasher. They sent the wrong part. I called. They sent a replacement part assuring me that if it was still wrong I would get a full refund. Spoiler . . . wrong part again. Since getting that second wrong part, I have emailed them pictures, talked to four different representatives, and I had a guy hang up on me. On two of those calls, I was promised a refund was coming . . . nothing. One of the agents, just flat out told me he would not give me a full refund after we talked for over an hour. Every time I called, I had to wait 15-60 minutes to finally talk to someone and then it was like starting over from ground zero every time. So much time wasted. I filed a formal complaint with the better business bureau. I am just asking for a $27 refund. I don't understand why it is so hard. I think ordering from this company could be a good experience if there are no hiccups, or mistakes. But, if you do have issues, the customer service is one of the worst I have ever worked with. "
"They sent me a part that didn't fit in my refrigerator. I contacted them about the issue, and they assured me I'd get a refund if I sent the part back at my own expense. So I packaged it up back in the original box with the original protective padding and sent it to them, at my own expense.
A few days later, I got an email with photos claiming the part was "damaged in shipping". The photos showed a small rigid tab of plastic that had been snapped off of the electrical plug. They told me to file a carrier insurance claim if I wanted to be compensated. I have attached the photo they sent me so you can judge for yourself.
Somehow, the part was able to make it all the way to me without any issue, but in the same box with the same padding, it managed to break on its way back to RepairClinic.com. After several weeks of assertive emails, I finally managed to get them to ship it back to me, again at my own expense. They put it back in the same box, with the same padding, and MAGICALLY, there was no further damage to the part when I received it.
I'm absolutely convinced that this damage did not happen in shipping, and I'm not about to commit insurance fraud with the US Postal Service just so RepairClinic.com doesn't have to honor their refund policy.
At a time when a lot of us are trying to save money by doing our own repair work, these guys are taking advantage of honest people.
They are scam artists. Don't take my word for it. Read the rest of the reviews."
"I purchased a motor and a capacitor from repair clinic. It was Tuesday evening at around 830pm, when I ordered these items.. I paid for the overnight shipping, but the agent ( Christian told me that it's too late for the fed ex to pick the items, so it will be shipped tomorrow and I will get the items on Thursday morning. It was cold and we had to sleep in cold for another night. But we did receive the item on time on Thursday, which was promised by the agent. We installed it, and its running good, so far. Thanks for a smooth transaction. "
"This seller was referred to me by my local 'Go-To' Appliance Parts Dealer, MIRACLE Appliance Parts (who is 1000% true to that name, but that's another review), with a warning that "they may have your part, but they are inconsistent and not very reliable; but nobody else seems to have the part you need, either." I figured, "What do I have to lose?" The answer: 'my PATIENCE', 'my TEMPER', 'MONTHS of wait-time'.
I first ordered the drain-impeller that I needed at the end of April, '21. I don't remember a lot about the online ordering experience now, but I don't recall it being 'impressive' in any positive way. So, now I begin to 'WAIT'! Weeks go by, and turn into months... Meanwhile, my wife (24-hour care nurse to her 102 year-old mother, in our home) and I are washing every single dish by hand, which is not RCC's fault. Just setting the scene. Meanwhile, in the ensuing "5 MONTHS" I receive '40', virtually every one of which is promotional for the business, and not one is updating the expected arrival date of my part. Needless to say, I got very used to considering their emails junk mail, so was not diligent about checking them. Well, I hadn't bothered to open an email they sent on 9/3. That one was attempting to notify me that my American Express approval had become stale-dated, and needed to be updated, and gave me 5 days (?) to call them to reauthorize my eventual purchase.
On 9/22, I decided to go online to check status, again. This process, with RCC is a NIGHTMARE!! There is a phone number you can call, but (as I recall) it goes to some offshore boiler-room where you learn nothing. The only other option is a chat function (that I'm convinced goes to the same boiler-room). I select Start Chat, and immediately learn that I am #16 in their count-down. I'm at my desk with other work to do, so I try to keep an eye on it. I was there for an extended period (don't remember how long), and when I looked up the counter had just started over, and I was now back to #12, in line. I hadn't left the page open to RCC, though it was still on line. Anyway, I had not heard any signal to say that I was up. Now I wait another eternity to get someone on line. Finally, I'm at bat. I provide my order number, and am promptly told that my order has been cancelled!! After exactly 5 months of waiting, my order was cancelled (because it was too much trouble for them to CALL ME about reauthorizing my purchase with Amex)??? Needless to say, I went ballistic!!
I managed to get someone on the phone at RCC to let them know that my experience with their company was ABYSSMAL, and that I would got out of my way to tell the world how poorly this company's business is managed.
(Somehow, I have a vague memory that EasyApplianceParts.com contacted me to let me know that they had the part that I needed on that same day??) Anyway, the rest is history. I've posted a glowing review of Easy Appliance Parts (DISHWASHER FAILURE DURING COVID >> 'SALVATION!!') "
"Would give 0/5 stars. Ordered 2 parts to replace fan motor in my HVAC. One arrived broken, and the other was an incorrect part that would not physically fit on my unit. I tried to return both but they only refunded the broken part, not the incorrect part, because it had been opened and taken out of the box to install, only to find out it was in no way the correct part. How are you supposed to know this company sent the incorrect part unless the package is open?! Now they have the (likely fully functioning, but incorrect for my unit) motor, AND the money I paid for it, and I am also out the money it took to ship it back to them (also on your dime if anything is wrong!). This is absolutely a predatory business, do not buy. I will report them as a scam and I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing. I will be filing a chargeback with my CC company and a complaint with the BBB. Their customer service is absolutely rude and horrible, and expect to wait for an hour no matter what option you choose. Again: do not buy from RepairClinic.com!"
"Ordered a little 4 buck part I needed to begin and air conditioner installation. (freon orifice no one had in stock). I placed the order about mid afternoon. he next day I come home to see a delivery by my door. I had no idea what it could have been because I had no orders from other places I was waiting on. You guessed it! Part was here standard shipping the very next day!
All that plus they did not gouge on shipping like the "Budget" place I tried to order from originally before it turned into a joke."
"I ordered 2 parts for my MTD lawnmower and paid for overnight shipping. It has been 4 days since I placed the order and the parts are nowhere to be found. I contacted them 2x and they kept me on hold over 20 minutes to speak to someone. When I finally did speak to someone, I was informed they must reach out to Fedex and it takes Fedex up to 48 hours to respond. I cancelled the order and went elsewhere.
Stay away from this company. The customer service stinks and I read the parts are not OEM compliant."
"I contacted the state of Michigan's Attorney General's office and the Better Business Bureau on these scammers! I received no product and they are impossible to contact! I warned you!"
"Original part lasted more than 10 years.
Replacement part lasted 10 minutes.
"
"I did not have to deal with customer service where a different reviewer stated they had bad luck. I ordered my LG/Kenmore refrigerator part on Wednesday and received it on Thursday! The part was brand new as expected, and packaged well. There's not much else to say other than I have had a perfect experience with them."
"ordered a part and it took a long time to arrive. Although it was originally quoted to arrive by the 4th or 5th now it’s expected delivery is on the 7th. I should have ordered faster shipping to be honest but to add another 2 days of the fridge being on the fritz is not a good thing. I requested on a couple of occasions a shipping refund and customer service was unapologetic and gave me a list of excuses and quite honestly rude. To apologize in one sentence and then write two paragraphs about why you are not in the wrong is not an apology. Do not go here if you want good customer service."
"I went to a couple of other websites before finding the part I needed on RepairClinic.com. From the info and picture on RepairClinic.com, I could tell, without a doubt, that I was ordering the right part. I got it for a fair price (cheaper than the other websites that showed "out of stock"), and shipping was reasonable. The part was shipped quickly and arrived quickly, via standard shipping. I'm a satisfied customer!"
