"The remote that came with my Samsung sound bar had a very flimsy, "cheap" feel to it, and it required a hard to find, pricey battery. It worked fine for a few months and then erratic in performance after being turned on (no, I did not need a new battery). I had to press a button several times to get a response, and often had to get up to manually change settings. I noticed the battery did not want to stay fully seated in its receptacle, but even after doing a "repair" to keep it seated, performance remained unreliable.
