"I have my grandmothers set of Rosenthal China that is well over 50 years old. My mother had broken three or four pieces dozens of years ago and was of course never able to replace them. I always knew about replacements but could never bring myself to truly look since I couldn't afford their prices. Recently I decided it was time to do it since I'm in a much better position for this. I found the pattern and the pieces. Then I decided to upsized my set from service for 12 to service for 18 with the thoughts that one day each of my girls would have a set. In any case, I spent several hundred dollars to do this. The pieces arrived VERY WELL wrapped and in good condition. I expected used pieces so the one cup that seemed a little stained did not bother me that much
However, what doesn't make sense to me is why some of the pieces are not as uniform as the set I have, or even as each other. Granted they are all probably from different production runs, but it seems to me that such a high end company like Rosenthal would be consistent in their products from run to run, production year to production year. So, I find that a little disappointing. What truly bothers me, though, is that less than a week after my order "shipped" I received an email ad showcasing the pieces I bought at a much lower price. That truly annoys me. "
"I ordered 4 Johnson Brothers plates. The plate are uneven. Very disappointed. Notice the top 3 plates. I tried putting a picture in but the software won't let me do that so here's a link to see what I received. I uploaded it here: https://imgur.com/sRGvlZy

"I bought 2 wine glasses that didn't end up being the style i thought. Upon the returning process, they told me I had to pay for shipping the items back. This means i payed $40 USD to get the items to me and then $40 USD to get it back to them. In hindsight, I wouldn't of purchased from this company had someone told me their returns and shipping policies aren't up to par with industry standards for providing good customer service. In the end, I'll be spending close to $150 for the entire experience - not worth it! Look elsewhere before buying from this company!"
"I purchased 6 Gibson stoneware cereal bowls. I was looking for new bowls that were a specific size as well as dishwasher and microwave safe. The description of the bowls did not indicate they were used and it specifically stated they were dishwasher safe. I received the bowls today and they were definitely used and the writing on the bottom of the bowl said to hand wash only. I reviewed the website again to make sure I hadn't made a mistake. The description of the bowls had changed into a very condensed version of what I had seen previously. There was still no mention of the bowls being used and there was no reference one way or the other about them being dishwasher or microwave safe. The entire experience was a disappointment. I'm not returning the bowls as it isn't cost effective. I definitely would not recommend this site."
"I placed an order from an email promo they sent to me. I am certain that I ordered 12 stainless steel teaspoons for 19.99.
I received the order with ONE teaspoon for a total price of $31.01 after they added $8.99 for shipping and handling and $2.03 for sales tax. I called to express my disatisfaction and asked where were the other eleven teaspoons. I was told I placed an on line order for ONE teaspoon. This is simply not true! I would never pay $19.99 for one stainless steel teaspoon. I was told I could return it at my own expense and forfeit the shipping charge and the tax. I will NEVER order anything from these people again. BUYER BEWARE!"
"I ordered a Mikasa balloon spiral wineglass in hopes to replace the one that was shattered, and that’s what I thought I was ordering, but what I received was a scam! Not only was the glassware different but the design was hideously done with poor execution. Not to mention looks NOTHING like either the picture or my previous glass. I feel very disappointed that a company would take advantage of their customers like this. "
"I had several pieces of Pfaltzgraff dinnerware (23 dinner plates and most of the accessory pieces) that we weren't using. I contacted them, they sent me "offer to buy" paperwork which I filled out. Packed up and FedEx'd 4 boxes of dinnerware to them (over 70 pieces) - following their directions. (couldn't insure it as FedEx wanted $60 a box to re-pack it so they would insure it). Based on the "offer to buy", this should have been worth around $300. It cost us $142 to ship it. Their offer came in at $114.00-----WAY lower than expected. They wouldn't buy all the pieces even though they were listed on their paperwork. SO....they will return it, but YOU pay for return shipping. SO....we paid to send them our dinnerware that they will sell at a huge markup AND they get to keep our leftovers that they didn't want although they do say they will "dispose of it". It was our decision, but SO sorry we did this... Just our experience. "
"This was my first time ordering discontinued glasses and cups/saucers. I ordered them, and they arrived quickly, packed extremely well and were exactly what I ordered. They were easy to find on the website, and I will absolutely order anything I need again and will refer this company to all of my friends!!
Extremely Happy!!"
"I ordered Dansk Christianshavn china and was VERY disappointed. I specifically ordered "Thailand" manufactured pasta bowls (4), soup rim bowls (3), plate (3), and all purpose bowl (3) to replace the ones that were broken over the years. To my dismay, the material was MUCH lighter, the rims on the products did not have the full blue color, and on the back of the products, it did not state it was made in Thailand. When I compared the new plates to the old plates, they are DEFINTELY not the same quality and design. I called customer service and explained the difference. I also stated that they need to take out "made in Thailand" since it's clearly not made in that country because it's not written on the back of the plate and the material is less than par. From the consumer perspective, it appears that this company is deceiving and charging customers more for a product that is not the same as the description. The customer service man was very nonchalant and was not helpful. PLEASE do NOT buy from these people. You can get the same products from Macy's for a little more and know that they won't deceive you and if there was something wrong, they would be happy to replace the products."
"I was hesitant to use these services after reading some reviews and decided to go thru with the process. The instructions are VERY clear and kept my expectations at a realistic level. I gently cleaned my inventory and noted what had small chips or cracks if any. I then carefully wrapped and packed my items as described in their contract. I was fortunate to have a FedEx business account I could send my item with ($80 total vs $160). In the end, I sold them my unused crystal for around $670, at least 5 x’s what I would have received at a yard sale. Yes, they declined or discounted a few items as I expected after carefully reviewing the contract. They answered all my questions before and after shipment and are deserving of a very good review. While there is personal value on sentiment, this is a business that fulfilled my expectation. I am certain that whoever buys the pieces I sent in will be grateful for this process too. Thank you Replacements Ltd. I hope more people will write good reviews for the fair and efficient service you provide.

"The check that I received was returned by their bank as unpaid. No one answered their phone when I called. My bank charged me an additional ten dollars."
"I purchased a Herend giraffe for my wife for our Anniversary. It cost me $600 as opposed to $2100 new.
It was two Giraffes intertwined and very delicate. I was replacing a broken one that we lost in earthquake.
We received it promptly and i could see the care in which it was wrapped but unfortunately one of the legs broke off.
I called Customer Service and they could repair it and as they are not set up for that: they were kind enough to refund me in full sight unseen.
I am leaving this review because I am more than grateful!
With sincere thanks!!

"I placed an order online. Five full days after the order was placed, I received an email stating my order couldn’t be fulfilled. I called Replacement.com to ask what happened, and was told “this happens when we go to pull an order sometimes” - I know this is not how their process works as I had read reviews before even placing my order. It’s highly likely they didn’t offer the actual seller of the piece enough money so they decided not to sell it to Replacement.com - this is very odd/dishonest way to do business as they authorize transactions without knowing if you’ll actually receive what you’ve ordered. Buyer beware!"
"I just want to say, I’m really happy with the delivery of my Christmas plates. They were very carefully, and well packaged. Thank you sooooo much. "
"I had a really pretty red paisley pattern that I wanted an extra matching platter and serving bowl for. Well, I found it one this website. So, my husband ordered it for me and when it came in, the color of the platter didn’t match the bowl they sent (two very noticeable different color reds) AND some of the pattern was flaking off. Very poor quality!! "
