"Needed parts for my 17’ Toyota 86 and wanted to use OEM. I always shop around to get the best prices but these days, buying online from non-Toyota sellers may get you a fake part. I try to buy from Toyota dealers to ensure my parts ARE OEM.

The dealer is in my community it was just late at night so I figured it would be easier. 4 days later I received a phone call from them saying that the emblem overlay was only available for certain cars and then I had to give my VIN number. He asked me if my car was in night shade Edition and I told him it was not. He told me without a Nightshade Edition Vin number I could not order them. Went to another local dealership and had the part the next day. Gave no Vin info to them"

"The floor mats I wanted were in stock, but I couldn't go and pick them up. I had to order them online, then go pick them up. This wasn't a great burden, but doesn't make much sense. Who makes the consumer go through ordering online?
My order was ready, in my name and held for me for a couple of weeks. An employee was available during lunch to hand me the floor mats. Very good service. "
