"They will screw you over!!!"
"Dont waste your time , fees 4g on any bike. What a rip off. "
"I bought a spyder from here Oct 21, at that time, we were told all the fluids were changed, brakes were good, and it was certified, they lied! I told them I was having issues with it but because of covid couldn't get it in the shop. Finally 8/9 months later I was able to get it in. I told them it was having brake issues and a few other things. They said they'd check it out. They had it about 2 or 3 wks, couldn't wait to get it back. Finally they called, went to pick it up, heading home had to get on 35 in rush hour traffic, semis and cars flying by. I applied my brakes and the floorboard dropped to the ground, absolutely no brakes!!! I had to go up into the construction area to stop, otherwise I would have gotten hit by a semi. I called them immediately, they told me they had no one to come tow my bike that I should limp it back to the shop. Again I told them that I had no brakes. They said they couldn't do anything. Called back again, asked for the service manager, he said they'd call the driver back to come get my bike. As we waited over an hour on the side of Hwy35, in over 100° weather, the guy showed up. He was pleasant and we were grateful when he got there. In the meantime, a can-am mechanic from another shop, stopped to help us, he said the oil hadn't been changed in a very long time, years he said (remember, the sales guy told us all fluids done and it was certified when I bought it). Black, muddy, thick oil spewing all over. The caliper blew. I could have been killed. If I would have gone maybe 1/4 mile up, I would have had no escape, the road was lined with huge blocks.
Anyway he got it back to the shop, the service manager looks angry. Instead of asking me if I was ok, he says, we didn't touch the brakes. It was on our service order receipt and that's one of the main reasons I took it in. Well finally got it fixed. However, we are having a difficult time trying to get the service order receipt for the second time in the shop. We have asked Brad, the GM, for it as well but the guy doesn't care. We asked for it again yesterday and we were there over 4 hours, but Brad did nothing to get that receipt for us. Not sure why they are intentionally keeping that from us, maybe to cover up their negligence?
After that, we went in again to get the service receipt and my hubby saw a trailer, asked the sales people about a spyder/trailer. A very rude kid said we couldn't buy it because of a recall. All he wanted was the trailer. Couldn't sell it alone. Went there yesterday and the trailer was sitting there, no bike, they had just sold the trailer, alone.
Yesterday, 9/17/2022, we thought we'd give them one last try since a bunch of our friends were looking to buy spyders, 5 total plus another who couldn't go with us yesterday. All of us are 60+, some retired and some own thriving businesses. Nice kid outside, very personable, likable. We chose him to help us. Great choice.
I had gone to Brad, one of the managers (ever meet someone who seems to hate his job and the people he works with plus he's another one that didn't think anything of my horrible experience, almost getting hit by a semi, because of their negligence with the maintenance of my bike) to let him know we were giving them one last try, asked them to please be nice to our friends. He couldn't even take the time to walk over to say hi or welcome them to the shop like a decent manager would. Remember they could have sold 6 can-ams, everyone had good credit, $$$, and bikes to trade in. They told us they used NADA, so we all got on NADA to get info on our bikes. These guys offered us at least $10,000 under the lowest price according to NADA for our bikes, fully loaded, jacked up the price with nonsense fees, and at 16.9%, totally an insult, guess they don't want repeat or any of our friends' business. They knew what all the bikes had by the VIN, all were kept up impeccably and fully loaded. After about 4+ hours of them wasting our time and ruining 5 sales for our sales guy, we all walked out.
While there we learned that a manager and two sales guys walked out on them the day before.
We also had a personal friend who was working there, which is why we went there to start with, he also walked out because of the poor management, terrible treatment to customers, and the shoddy way they conduct busines.
Brad could careless about repeat customers or customer referrals. Now I completely understand all the negative reviews they get.
They have now lost our business as well as the 4 others we were with, plus another friend. You can bet we'll steer others far away from this dealership.
I absolutely would NEVER recommend this place to anyone."
"The worst experience of my life!!!!!. I purchased a machine, my first machine. The sales people made it seem like a real good deal. While purchasing I was asked if I wanted GAP, well of course I wanted to stay protected so I got it as suggested. I was also sold a warranty for battery and normal warranty. I walked out financing for over $11,000 over sticker price but was made to believe I got a great deal. Unfortunately I totaled the machine, thinking I was converted as I did all the paperwork for GAP and insurance I find out that ride now sold me a GAP insurance that wouldn't even work since they sold me a machine that was 125% over MSRP. Knowing this they still sold me the GAP that they knew world never work for this deal. They also wouldn't refund my battery coverage even though it was NEVER used. I still owe thousands on a machine that I don't have and no one at ride now can fix their wrong doing. They do to customers and don't care. I will never go there again and will make sure to let all my friends and family that are purchasing to never go there as well. RIDE NOW is one of the worst businesses I've ever dealt with. "
"I found the bike I was looking for advertised online at Ridenow for 16,800. It was a used 2021 with 1200 miles. When I get there the OTD price for a used bike was $19,300. $2500 in dealer fees for a used bike. Walked away."
"I took my 2015 Yamaha R3 to them for a few recalls. (Replace gas tank and shift return spring And they forgot to install my shift return spring . And they gave me my bike back with out test driving it so I leave and hop on the Highway and I can’t down shift only up shift . My bike died and I almost crashed after then I pushed it. A half mile up hill ! back to they shop they said no one actually test drove it. I asked for a manager and after waiting 30 mins the 20 yr old kid told me he was not Available until tomorrow and that I should leave it with them for a few more days it was there 4 days already . I could have lost my life because of their negligence "
"Ride now is not a good place to shop especially if you need a ATV or an off-road vehicle for one I stayed there for 6 and 1/2 hours because I was promised to take it home that day and I only stayed there for that long because they said that it would be done in a half hour then they said an hour and a half and then they said 2 hours and I lived a half an hour away so I didn't want to have to drive home just to turn around again to come and pick up my quad. I was told that they would deliver it to me for free the next day but then the driver called in sick and then they said unfortunately it wouldn't be able to be delivered and I could either pick it up or it could be delivered the next day and I didn't want to wait so I had to drive up there another half hour just to pick it up. Next I got home eventually with my quad and started driving around and the rear brakes won't stop so I called and asked if they could take a look at it and they asked me what was wrong with it and I said I think it's just a loose brake cable but then they tell me that they could have forgotten break pads and I was like are you serious you took 6 and 1/2 hours for a safety inspection and in that time you didn't find that you forgot brake pads and now I have to drive there for another half hour drive and drop it off drive back another half hour and then hopefully go pick it up the next day for another half hour drive there and a half hour drive back"
"We drove up to Las Vegas to purchase a used trailer from this company and they failed to mention their $900 hidden fees additions to our bill. We refused, but they attempted to convince us to buy it anyways, but we stood our ground and walked out. In addition, sales staff lied when they said our UTV would fit onto the 9' long trailer.
We went to another dealer where we purchased a better trailer and paid $125 in hidden fees.
DO NOT BUY FROM RIDENOW POWER SPORTS AS THEY WILL CHEAT YOU .
Read all of their reviews across the internet, at the Better Business Bureau, and under their employee's ratings website. They don't care about their reputation and will cheat you, so beware."
"Took 2002 Honda GL1800 in to have the seals replaced in the front forks. Received a call stating the front brake pads had oil on them from the fluid leak so pads need to be replaced. Had to pay $780. Picked up the bike and drove 20 miles on the freeway. Front brake handle would not return to released position and rear brake pedal was soft. Rear tire locked up and would not roll. Called service department and they said they would make it right. They picked up the bike and took it back for repair. Received call from service department and they said rear brake rotor needs to be replaced and since there is no history of brake fluid being flushed every 2 years it will cost $1550. Have me over a barrel so I did not have a choice but to get it fixed. I would not recommend taking anything there to be worked on. What are the odds that bike is running good, just need seals replaced in forks, get it worked on and drive less than 20 miles and now bike locks up."
"Bait and switch tactics are still in vogue it seems. Discussed the bike I was interested in via email, text and phone calls and was told the bike was available Friday evening and was in great condition (although they refused to give me an estimate of the “out the door price” so I’d know how much money to bring). Drove to the dealership the very next morning with cash in hand, was instantly handed off to another salesmen as “he has more knowledge of the bike”. Lo and behold! The sales guy hadn’t seen that particular bike in over a week but they had the very same model (but different color) available only newer (and cost more of course). Sad thing is, I could have easily purchased the newer model with cash in hand. I’m also a boater and Jet Ski owner who is in the market for an upgrade and was pleased to see that this dealership carries many boards and jet skis. Sadly, they have lost a customer for life who will gladly take his business elsewhere. These kind of tactics are severely outdated and only reflect poorly on how a dealership is run. My advice is to take your business elsewhere."
"Jerry, Ryan, and Adam all had great customer service and were able to answer questions and guide us to the product that was best for us and a rate that worked for us. "
"Very Rude People Sales Manager Brandon B . finance David G.
this people need to learn how to handle customers over the phone zero customer service they keep hang up the phone very cold people."
"I dropped off my dirt bike front tire at 9am to have it replaced with a new one today. They charged me $122 which is over MSRP even though all other retailers are charging $77 for this tire. They weren’t willing to come down on the price. They tell you that it’s a “free install” but really they just jack up all of their prices from the get go. They said they’d call me when it was done. I called them at 1130 and it’s still not done... I call again at 130 and they said it’s still not finished so I tell them I’m coming down there for my old tire and a full refund if it hasn’t been started already. I get there and they said they just started working on it and they just took off the old tire. When I tell the service guy I’m frustrated that this should’ve been done already and that we’re being over charged he just argues that this isn’t a priority to them and this is the price to pay of you want it from their company same day. When we ask for a discount on the tube that he’s recommending/up selling, he threatens that he’ll give us a discount on the tire but now he’s going to charge us LABOR! It’s ride now, home of the free installation, they say this when they pick up the phone! This company doesn’t care about the customer, they just want to squeeze all the money out of you that they can. We’ll never come here again for ANYTHING. "
"Bought a razor and they said that its gonna have a missing door cause its missing from the package and they didnt give me a extra belt like they said and i didnt get the owners manul or anything but it runs good but that still **** me off
"
"They tryd to sell me a 2020 crf250r for over $10,000. The only reason i was there is because they said they price match. NO price matching going on here. I got my Honda from another dealership. Ridenow was not trying to sell a bike that day."
