"I ordered American Girl mag. for my daughter on 2-14-11. It was to start in 7-11 weeks. As of tomorrow, it will have been 14 weeks since date of order. I called American Girl Mag., just to see if there was even an order in place, and they have no record at all of the order. I have taken this up with my credit card company. They are investigating it for me. Hopefully I can get a refund, and I will just order straight from the American Girl site. Interesting how Rite Price saw fit to charge my card the day of the order yet never placed it for me.

"Stay away from them. They charged my credit card for a subscription to Consumer Reports in July of 2010 but they never sent the renewal order to Consumer Reports. Since they tell you to wait 9-12 weeks, by the time you wait that long, you can't fight the credit card charge because it is past the 60 days you have to dispute a claim. Don't try to call the phone number on their website, because they don't answer. And they certainly don't respond to emails."
"I ordered a one-year subscription of American Girl magazine for my daughter on 12/23/10. According to the payment receipt, the first issue should be arrived no later than 3/10/11. BUT IT NEVER CAME! Sent emails through their CONTACT US page and got no reply from them. Today I called the phone number they listed on their web site ***-***-****, but nobody answering the phone. It comes across my mind that this is a fraud site. I called my credit card company and disputed the charge. BE AWARE!!! They bait you at very low prices and will let you wait 3 months or longer. By the time you suspicious them, your credit card company may not be able to credit you back(most credit card companies have only 60 days dispute period)"

To date have not received magazines or the gift cards-it's been 4 months, I just called J-14 today (which is one of the magazines I ordered for my daughter)and they have no knowledge of the subscrition-total scam! "I used this website Nov 9, 2010 for 3 magazine orders for Christmas gifts, even paid extra for the "gift card" on one. Still have not received the subscription for the gift card magazine. The other 2 did finally start coming but not until March. Phone just rings with no answer, no voicemail and they do not respond to any email attempts, through their website or not. Terrible service."

How demoralizing...I ordered after everyone else listed. In the unlikely event others get their US Weekly, I'll be blue in face when the cows come home as @#$% freezes over. (but according to RPM: "Please be assured that these are standard industry lead times") Not in my industry! Time to buy another gift for my niece or do it the wiser way thru US before she hunts these fools down like a dog & gets more than $37.50 outta their hides! $37.50 was a bit too good to be true! "I placed an order in December 2010 and still haven't received my first magazine yet. I have made several attempts to call their number, which is always busy or rings without an answer or voicemail. I have also emailed them and haven't gotten any responses. I finally came to this website and saw others were having the same troubles, so I have contacted US Weekly directly to see if they can help! I hope this works out, because I'm very frustrated at this point. Thanks for the good advice on here and I, too, will NEVER go through this site again!!"
"Let's be clear, it's one star because a "zero star" rating isn't allowed by this site. DO NOT USE THIS RETAILER!!! I can't stress that enough. It is not worth the few dollars you think you're saving. If the magazine never comes, you didn't save anything. You just wasted $30-$40. Unfortunately, I don't have much new to add regarding the quality of the service provided by this seller. I ordered a subscription back in December 2010. They said it would take 7-11 weeks for the first issue to arrive. That time has come and gone. Nothing. I've emailed RPM four times, including a couple times using that dumb-ass form on their site. Nothing. I've phoned them several times. Nothing. It just rings and rings. No recording, not even an answering machine. I'm currently waiting to hear back from US Weekly to see if a subscription is being processed. "
