"Went on line and ordered $1200 worth of equipment. All items were in stock and said they would ship next business day Ordered on Saturday. I watched all day Monday for a shipping confirmation that never came. On Tuesday I emailed customer service to check on the order status. I received no response. Called first thing Wednesday and was told that they were closed on Monday because of a holiday (this was not mentioned when I placed the order) but the camera would be shipping that day. 3:00 PM still no confirmation. Called again and was told all cameras of that model number were defective so they really didn't know when it would ship. I cancelled the order and it will be 3-5 days before the credit will be applied. I am dissatisfied on multiple levels.
1. Why didn't the website say they were closed on Monday?
2. Why did the website say the camera was in stock when clearly it wasn't?
3. Why was my email to customer service not responded to?
4. Why was I told the product would ship that day if they did not have it in inventory?
5. Why did I have to call in order to find out that the order would not ship as stated by customer service and the website.
6. Why do I have to wait 3-5 business days to get charges reversed on a product that was never shipped.
7. Other than the above it was a great shopping experience, NOT!
Called B&H Photo at 3:30 PM, ordered the camera, got a free bag, and free one day shipping. I will have the camera by Friday. B&H you guys ROCK!"
