"The Rocket Banner Company did work that was above and beyond anything I expected. I am the worship pastor at a small church and I was challenged to make some banners to hang in front of the church for our 120th anniversary year. I was told that it should say Jesus Saves. I have seen the felt banners that are handmade and beautiful, but that is not my skill-set and we didn't have enough time to design and sew all of those pieces together. As I was driving I saw some vinyl banners and I thought that it might be an option, though I would be using them indoors. I didn't want anything really shiny, nor did I want it to look like a giant piece of clipart from a microsoft program. As I was looking through ideas for banners online, I decided to take a chance with the Rocket Banner company. On his website, I saw some things that had been produced and they looked pretty good. Again, I was worried about the shininess, but I was also concerned how an outdoor vinyl banner would look inside, because I most certainly didn't want it to look like an outside banner.
I created some art and got the proper approvals from our financial officers and settled on ordering a pair of 4'x12' do-it-yourself banners. Now what is still quite surprising to me is that it was like a 2 or 3-day turnaround - they were complete and in my hands here at the church. As we unrolled the banners, we were super-thrilled with the outcome. We went right to work creating a set of wooden frames and then we stapled the vinyl banners to the frames. We hung them up and they are not too shiny, more like between a matte finish and a semi-gloss finish. Also, they don't look like industrial construction grade outdoor vinyl signs, they look like beautiful photographs that we hung up on the walls - HUGE PHOTOS.
In the future when we find a need for more/different banners, we will definitely be contacting the Rocket Banner Company - thank you.
